You’re right! I’ve been playing Hi Ho Silver Lining in my ukulele group and looked at the song sheet. There it is. The verses have the same chord progression as does the chorus 😊. LIGHT BULB!!💡💡💡

Excellent video! I’ve given myself a break by lowering my expectations of myself because I was getting frustrated thinking I should be able to play any song. I start to challenge myself to play songs first in key of C, then key of G etc. and to memorize progression while thinking about circle of fifth. And then, to play it with my eyes closed. The last one help me to sing in pitch too.
