Carbon fiber has become a very popular upgrade due to its light weight and distinct look. 3dCarbon has designed an aggressive high-gloss carbon fiber front splitter, side splitters and a rear lower diffuser, to give your 2015, 2016 or 2017 Mustangs with the GT Performance Package and the 1,964 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary GT a stand-out look.
In this video we show you how to install this kit using one of our project cars, with a few simple modifications this can be installed in your garage in a few hours. There will be a few minor modifications to existing body panels and some holes WILL need to be drilled in the new components for proper installation using existing hardware.
Once installed out competition orange project car looks awesome. The high gloss carbon fiber really stands out against the paint and adds some wow factor over the factory pieces. If you want to give your 2015-2017 Performance Package GT a stand out look that is sure to turn heads, than check out this carbon fiber package from 3dCarbon.
*Does NOT fit V6, EcoBoost Performance Package or the 50th Anniversary optional upgrade on GTs and Ecoboost Mustangs.

It may be expensive but I think it looks really good. It would look amazing on an Oxford white mustang.
2500? so much for cosmetic effect with only possible slight benefit on reducing weight
If the car hits a curb/median will this carbon fiber hold out better than the matte plastic pieces? Will the carbon pieces simply crack up upon impact?
***** If you hit a curb in your 2015 you should buy a Focus instead.
Brandon Richards Noted. If a Focus equipped with carbon fiber pieces hits a curb will the carbon hold out better than the matte plastic pieces it replaces?
Not likely. Carbon Fiber is built to be light and stiff. It does not like to bend and will crack. Molded plastic will hold out much better but when you think about the force a 3,000 lb car going 40mph creates. I doubt a stainless steel bodykit would retain its shape haha. Hope this helped *****
Brandon Richards Thanks.
+20hp i like it
I'd like to see some carbon fiber mirror pieces to replace the painted ones. I'd buy those.
$2,500 for that?! You must *really* like the look of carbon fiber to spend that kind of money on a purely cosmetic mod.
+LMacNeill It make the car lighter, therefore quicker on the drag strip dude. Looks don't mean speed.
+LMacNeill Carbon fiber is also usually stronger than steel, so it boosts your safety rating.
That too.
^^ I hope these two guys are joking in thinking that replacing PLASTIC pieces that clip on to the EDGES of the car will reduce weight and add structural rigidity! llooll This is purely cosmetic.
yes but little touches like this one can give the car a whole different look, worth the money if you like the way it looks, defintley adds a nice accent.
Are you sure when you install the side skirts that the metal tabs don't push in from the outside and not clip on from the back of the tab? It just looked wrong when you clipped the metal pieces onto the tab from the back.
looks really cool but not worth the $2500 price tag
Would a mustang 5.0 GT C/S consider a performance is not a base get though
so why not offer a more aggressive ground effects kit?
Release date and availability? Does not appear on your site as available for purchase
Your honest opinion, will achipped ecoboost give you a good percentage of the fun that the v8 GT does? Quite a bit cheaper to buy the Ecoboost, and I could still get the Recaros that way
Our tuned, cold air kit, and full exhaust EB felt quite fast to me, until I got back in my GT :) They are fun for sure and will hold their own but with tune only the GT is still noticeably quicker
Daniel Tojcic screw the Recaros. Unless you're gonna be living at the track, the stock seats are fine. Not to mention, if you get the 401A equipment package, you're getting heated and cooled seats. If you also opt for the Recaro seats, you lose the heated and cooled seats. I absolutely LOVE the cooled seats......use them daily.
i drive these cars all the time where i work the ecoboost car is slower then the 5.0 no question but once you drive the ecoboost you really dont care the car is so much fun and has an insane amount of power for what it is and honestly i would rather buy an ecoboost one over the 5.0 but thats just me
So i have a premuim gt 2015 mustang do you have carbon fiber parts for it?
my 2015 v6 and 2016 gt don't have the rear defusers ((( don't look so good with out it
I like it
Cant find it on ur website
Can you use this method of not removing the rear bumper to install the gt350 4tip valence
+Greg Hawking You absolutely could, it will be a little more difficult to make the cut and get to the bolts for the back up light but it would save time for sure.
is it only the front splitter that reguires the pp plus premium model?will the rear defuser and side splitters fit on a 2016 cal special ?
+julius ceasar Yes
What all is needed to make this work on a non PP GT? I have a 2015 Premium GT.
+Tech E Coyote You would need the factory splitter, belly pan, and splash shields from PP car.
Hey Bill! Quick question concerning the mustangs. Rumors going around that the v8 will be discontinued in 2017 do you believe this is true? Why or why not please!!
I don't believe it for a second. The website that started that rumor was looking to get their name out there and did a very good job of it. Several higher ups at Ford have said it is absolutely not true. While I do not see Ford eliminating a V8 option, I would not be surprised to see the V8 not be the top performance choice.
***** Only problem is I want the roaring sound of a V8 not a 4 cylinder :/ I would def put a turbo or supercharge the V8 if i had to.
Nicely said!
Tyler Smith please ford GET RID OF THE V8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My ride's value will skyrocket!!!!! LOL
what was the rubber thing underneath the chin spoiler? I saw you put another deck after you installed the new carbon fiber chin spoiler but that thing is gone. I pulled it off of my car is that fine? is it something important? Please let me know I'm concerned
Alex Tang That rubber deflector only comes on the non performance pack cars, we had to convert this to performance pack to make the kit fit.
so is it ok if I took it off? And how do I get the deck underneath? What is that rubber deflector for?
First and awesome video
will this fit my 2015 ecoboost mustang base
Mauricio Salinas No it fits performance pack GTs or 50th Anniversary only
Bill Tumas
how do i get this then, will they ever have some for base mustang ecoboost
I have a mustang gt PP model and I have a 1 piece rear bumper? It's also a base model with the PP pack added onto it so that might be why.
a friend got it like this from the dealership, why is that??
The dealer may have installed it to give their car a different look
$2500 would work if the kit made the car look like it belonged in an Autocross circuit by having a serious aggressive look (ACR) but to merely mimic the factory look is like really? I'm sure its good quality.
Do you guys have any kit like these for a v6 model 2013?
Waste of money and time.. No thanks!
You should always wear a mask when drilling carbon fiber, this stuff is nasty on the lungs.
this is too much for cosmetics... its looks nice on a black car
Hahahahah. Prices of body kit makes it performance. Typical American hype. How much more performance do you get. 20' 60 or maybe 100 horse power. Hahaha.
