How do you do this without the old remote and without the app? My Firestick isn’t automatically connected to the internet where I’m at and I lost the old remote but since they’re not on the same wifi I can’t use the app. I bought a universal streaming rechargeable remote that says it can connect to FireTV through bluetooth but it’s not working

I’m having this issue as well. I have a remote to another fire stick, but I have a new firearm k that was never connected to the wifi, and isn’t registered, so I can’t do anything, it doesn’t even come up on the TV, so I need to be able to pair the remote to the other fire stick, to the new one. thank you! I followed the instructions sent with the new remote - that didn't work and I was just about to return it. Then I found your video, watched it step by step and my brand new remote is working. The remote on the phone does work really well but when you're using the phone it's pretty cumbersome.
