Russian President Vladimir Putin rules out attacking NATO. However, Putin has warned that Moscow will shoot down F-16 fighter jets sent by the West to Ukraine. The Russian President stated that talk of Russia attacking Poland or any of the Baltic countries is “complete nonsense”.
Ukraine, which is now more than two years into the war with Russia, has sought F-16s for many months. Various countries, including Belgium, Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands, are providing F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. Putin's remarks come amid heightened tensions between Russia and the West.
To support Ukraine's use of these jets, a coalition of countries has also pledged to train Ukrainian pilots.

@@PlayShorts3 NATO’s numerical advantage is about 3 to 1 in troop numbers, 4 to 1 in planes etcetera. Russia had a numerical advantage in artillery but far less accurate and range. NATO has a strong technological advantage on Russia too and this might make the difference in future conflicts.

On the other side, only under Putin´s rule Russia attacked Georgia (2008), invaded and annexed Crimea (2014), and is waging a full scale, brutal war against Ukraine since more than 2 years now.

But even worse in the long run: In a situation where the population is already shrinking, Putin sacrifices the lifes of many thousands of mostly young Russians in Ukraine, and makes many thousands more fleeing the country. Aside all the horrible human suffering, this deteriorates Russia´s power heavily.
