He's blaming the helmet being too tight because if he admits he passed out while riding from a medical incident or any other reason he will automatically lose his licence for at least a year on medical grounds, its treated like they do if you have a seizure or anything like that
6:26 - Yeah, the worn tire and slick surface. I think he fact you were going over 120 mph and clamped down on the front brake just before you low sided might have contributed as well.
When one fails, they tend to fail hard. I almost ate asphalt on, of all things, a 50cc scooter. Slick pavement paint and a slight turn was all that took. Of course, I did sort of ask for it as the tire was kind of bald but only because I couldn't find a replacement tire for sale anywhere.
The #1 cause of motorcycle accidents is “single vehicle loss of control”, with excessive speed almost always being the underlying cause. This video shows why insurance rates are so high on motorcycles.
You know what, thank you. I didn't realise I needed to see this. I'm about to buy a bike and was thinking of the CBR600RR because after the countless videos I figured it would be nice to start on. Now I'll look more at the Ninja 400 lol. I'm a fairly big dude and I'm generally very careful but I'm in no need to rush or end up like these guys
I’m always shocked by the number of crotch rockets riding around on bad tires, when you only have two wheels they are and should be a priority, I had an 2005 Ninja ZX10R and replaced my rear wheel every season, my front usually lasted two…not doing crazy hard driving (but definitely some Mexico speeds). Aside from your own awareness, tires and brakes are the most important things when on a motorcycle.
I got 6000kms out of my last pair of Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV’s, and I hit the twisties mostly at a good pace on my Z900. Excellent tyres. Worth the $778 fitted my new pair cost, though with the free ticket to WSBK at Phillip Island, I save $150 on high quality rubber … 😎
I think tires can be the most big problem to these sport bikes they r less threaded compared to other bikes like the off-road bikes the tires has more threads
Tip 1: Use a lower gear and rely on engine braking as much as possible in traffic and corners. Tip 2: Slow down before the corner, accelerate gently throughout. Tip 3: Where it is legal to do so, split lanes slowly and be courteous. Conclusion: I am a daily rider who has not been down since the late 80's.
Hello my friend, I am following you from the United Arab Emirates and I admire your content and I wish you all success and I wish you continue like these wonderful clips with all respect and appreciation for you ♥️
There are too many riders who think they are expert enough to turn off the safety features of the bikes they ride, not realizing that those features are what make them ride like pro's
No one in these clips rides like a competent rider, let alone a pro. And rider aids don’t cover for a lack of skill. Competent riders don’t need fancy electronics to ride and corner at pace and in control …
I understand people saying the bikes that wrecked and exploded should be on a track but what tracks have just straight flat roads that you can full send you bike for miles?
23:50 Always feel bad for the rider who crashes. There's a lesson here for anyone with ABS: practice using it in a safe environment. ABS will help prevent a lowside, but as the suspension compresses, the bike tries to "stand up" and go straight, it takes a whole lot more pressure on the inside bar to keep it going around the corner. If you've practiced somewhere like a racetrack or even a large parking lot, you'll be prepared.
Also worth noting how this has nothing to do with ABS - it’s literally a byproduct of weight transfer and braking. Even non-ABS will stand up under braking (it’ll just lock up much earlier - which isn’t useful).
No way that ABS will anyhow prevent lowside! It works best when the tires are right up, and just helps blockade there and than! You put your bike lying in a curve, and forget about abs. Its too late for braking already…
This was fixation and hit object plain as day. You don't go into a corner leaned, lock the brake and then the bike stands perfectly straight and goes straight forward 20 yards into (coincidentally) the biggest thing you didn't want to hit.
this had nothing to do with ABS, the dude just immediately grabbed full brake and got it. Causing weight to transfer to the front and the bike flipping over
All this reminds me of a Nam vet that i worked with and was my friend. Riding, he swerved to miss a gravel truck barreling out of a sideroad, caught some spilled gravel on the road, slide, and despite his helmet , his head found a telephone pole. Died like he lived.
To everyone who rides, have a good rest of year and speedy recovery to people who had any injury or whatsoever. Ride Safe Everyone and Ride you own ride
A lot of these accidents seem to feature too much speed or a lack of grip especially when turning into corners too fast or sharply, drivers not paying attention and wet road conditions.
I felt SO BAD and SORRY for those BEAUTIFUL BIKES which most of the times fell or get crashed due to careless and reckless riders. ( most of those during U-TURN 😅). Due to excess speed. Well others crashes are also there in which faults were done by others Careless and Reckless Car drivers. ☹️
5:50, accelerating whilst still low in the lean, then leaning more and catching the footpeg which takes some of the weight and therefore grip off your rear tyre, Bye-Bye time, we have all done it. Try accelerating after you start to come upright when you have a straighter line.
Let me give you a hint: After 19 years of motorcycle riding (licensed), I am riding a 225cc single-cylinder dual sport (XT225), and pay $16 a month for the insurance; full coverage including the roadside assistance. It is a great commuter in city and off-road, the fuel economy is a plus.
8:11 swear people don't realize how volitile fuel is because they use it every day. Yea lets just have a paddle about in it! 😅 Take it they never played about with it as a teenager.
It's not nitroglycerine you know. Sure it is volatile, but unless they decide to light a cigarette, there isn't that much to worry about. (And I sure have played around with fuel a lot in my younger years.)
@@MotoGuy-ul6lp I can dig that. Why not minimize all the risks one can. Personally however, I think riding two wheels on a highway is way more risky than dancing in gasoline, and that's a risk I'm more than willing to take.
5:26. Queen's Road in Beeston, Notts heading towards Uni Bvd. I use that road a lot and im somewhat perplexed as to why the rider didn't slow down at all the moment they could see the car was going to cross their path. In that sort of situation, I'd be rolling off the throttle and applying the brakes the moment I seen the Audi coming out....
@@stormus65 fair enough, he gets off on that one then. Looked like a regular urban road with houses, pavement etc, which is why I was expecting it to be a 30. But I trust your local knowledge
2:30 "Hope this isn't one of our guys" ...Well, gee, if I were a betting man... The inevitable consequence of treating public roadways like your private playground.
What an amazing man and woman. cudos to you both and I wish there were more human beings just like you. I have a project I'm working on and would like to use your story, if anyone knows them. Thank you, Jeff
The explosion, Aprilia scene, I am glad everyone made it out okay. I hope every one of the bikers is okay, whether it was their fault or the cars fault etc.
They were speeding like idiots in traffic, ffs! Of course it’s their fault. They’re all complete fuq wits who shouldn’t ride again. I’m an experienced biker who likes to ride at a good pace in the right situations (that wasn’t it), so have zero sympathy for these squids …
10:25 looks like AU or NZ? Like in most countries I assume a solid line means no overtaking? So the overtake wasn't just risky, it was most likely illegal.
5:00, unlucky to be caught in a icy, sleety rain, very slippery, I don't think he would have stayed upright even if he had not ridden over the panted lines, hope you are OK brother.
21:14 It looks like the car had a puncture before and the dude patched it up with a repair kit. The way the tire blew off it looks like the patched part broke (maybe it was an older patch, usually you should replace the tire after fixing it this way). Does it look like this for anyone else? Or other ideas?
23:10 I had a crash like that where I got really hurt. Road rager jammed on their brakes in a random spot just to fuck me up, and it worked. Now I ride assuming anyone is going to do that shit any any moment.
Wet and oily roads, best excuse for failure and an irresponsibility life. Very entertaining!!! And yes I ride and I have had my crashes. All do to being reckless and selfish of the road.(never oily/ wet roads) Besides everyone. Knows oil and water don’t mix!!
Dumped my ZX14R this year, too fifty mph straight up cold wet road and it just folded. Being the panzer it is, new lower body panel, all back up. I put a crash cage on it this time, lol
These sports bikes scare the living day lights out of me I’m an older rider now ,but even before I got older I was scared of them I’m just a plodder a bit scared of speed ,I take my hat of to these guys

I was so focused on him, that I did not even notice a guy crashed into a car, right behind him.
He must be a bmx biker in his spare time It was vary impressive
6:26 - Yeah, the worn tire and slick surface. I think he fact you were going over 120 mph and clamped down on the front brake just before you low sided might have contributed as well.
the surface didn't look slick at all
i think that was KM/H
When one fails, they tend to fail hard. I almost ate asphalt on, of all things, a 50cc scooter. Slick pavement paint and a slight turn was all that took. Of course, I did sort of ask for it as the tire was kind of bald but only because I couldn't find a replacement tire for sale anywhere.
No counter steer either
The #1 cause of motorcycle accidents is “single vehicle loss of control”, with excessive speed almost always being the underlying cause. This video shows why insurance rates are so high on motorcycles.
6:28 dude just grabbed a fist full of front brake for no reason
nah it was the worn tire and the oily road 😆totally not him being on the brake and yanking to the left lol
6:58 ICETHECLOSER is saying a lot of words but he doesn’t explain how the VFR fell over while he was fueling it.
Not hard to fill in the blanks, he was sitting on it and when it started to overflow, panicked and jumped off.
To his credit, he didn't try and blame it on a stuck throttle or loose gravel.
@@j.b.delaney3444Just a stuck fuel nozzle instead
They switch off automatically when full
@@stevepercival4774 Not always.
Am I the only one who finds the interaction between the two brits quite hilarious? 😂
Driving fast is easy, braking correctly is the difficult part
And coming to a stop w/o falling over is the hardest part - for some.
Steering around corners is difficult for many.
Most of them are still at honeymoon phase of enjoying 300 kph. They don't care about tyres and brakes yet, until they got that one terrible crash
You forgot about the most important part of the bike - your brain.
I think tires can be the most big problem to these sport bikes they r less threaded compared to other bikes like the off-road bikes the tires has more threads
@@amoswarui7692sport bike tyres have insane grip
Tip 1: Use a lower gear and rely on engine braking as much as possible in traffic and corners.
Tip 2: Slow down before the corner, accelerate gently throughout.
Tip 3: Where it is legal to do so, split lanes slowly and be courteous.
Conclusion: I am a daily rider who has not been down since the late 80's.
Hello my friend, I am following you from the United Arab Emirates and I admire your content and I wish you all success and I wish you continue like these wonderful clips with all respect and appreciation for you ♥️
Hey! Thank you!
I don't ride motorcycles, but your videos are very enjoyable. Thanks!
Guys, just slow down a bit. Your riding cant keep up with your egos. Sheesh.
Oh but they do, they have Max Wrist as their god lol
Moment of the year? BMW gets a flat tire 😂😂😂
21:20 drypitachip accelerating INTO the corners was bound to go wrong.
the problem here for me is that he didnt put any lean angle, only increasing speed which led to his fall
Slow in, fast out for good cornering control.
Some of these riders have no roadcraft and very little idea of throttle control
Great video every motorcyclist should watch it to remind them just how quick things can go wrong and how vulnerable they are
Lol the 2 guys telling each other to go first was some funny shit
13:04 that was kinda cool
There are too many riders who think they are expert enough to turn off the safety features of the bikes they ride, not realizing that those features are what make them ride like pro's
No one in these clips rides like a competent rider, let alone a pro. And rider aids don’t cover for a lack of skill. Competent riders don’t need fancy electronics to ride and corner at pace and in control …
The Death Wobble freaks me out every time I see it
There are many idiots on the street, with 2 or 4 wheels !
I understand people saying the bikes that wrecked and exploded should be on a track but what tracks have just straight flat roads that you can full send you bike for miles?
His helmet was too tight and he kept loosing consciousness. Who on this earth would be so vain is hard to believe?????????
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the USA.
That is complete nonsense.
Causing weight to transfer to the front and the bike flipping over
I go to the track every weekend to race my bike and I have a blast of fun every day time I always tell new riders GO TO THE TRACK!!!!
Merry Christmas if you celebrate it (otherwise, happy holidays). Love your videos. I learn more about riding with every one!
All this reminds me of a Nam vet that i worked with and was my friend.
Riding, he swerved to miss a gravel truck barreling out of a sideroad,
caught some spilled gravel on the road, slide, and despite his helmet , his head found a telephone pole.
Died like he lived.
To everyone who rides, have a good rest of year and speedy recovery to people who had any injury or whatsoever. Ride Safe Everyone and Ride you own ride
Always dress for the slide, never the ride
16:10 in fact that's a cop 🤣, he was chasing down someone and got distracted. Greetings from Maipú, New Zealand.
Kia Ora bro
21:11 I'm having a fit of laughter XDDDD
These videos reinforce why I don’t ride with people I don’t know.
Thousands and thousands of dollars for the bike... Not a cent for safety gear??
Brainless squids … 🤡😵💀
Cant you see they are using those expensive gears... thats why in a deadly crash as well they are getting little scratches??
Perfect Video for driving school to learn, what you SHOULDN`T do, when you riding a bike in public traffic.
Очень полезные и важные советы не только для водителей Байков, но и автомобилистов. Спасибо автору.
A lot of these accidents seem to feature too much speed or a lack of grip especially when turning into corners too fast or sharply, drivers not paying attention and wet road conditions.
Motorchill 10:06 tried to blame a wet road for dumping it on a simple corner when the road was dry … 😂
all these accidents are due to lack of functioning brains, case closed.
Hello, all your selections are good!
I distribute it among my students.
Thank you!
Glad to hear that!
After watching this, does anyone else wonder how motorcycle insurance costs less than $12,000 a year?
Let me give you a hint: After 19 years of motorcycle riding (licensed), I am riding a 225cc single-cylinder dual sport (XT225), and pay $16 a month for the insurance; full coverage including the roadside assistance. It is a great commuter in city and off-road, the fuel economy is a plus.
Had me wincing throughout. A good collection
@@argrides8440 I get it man, just not worth the risk 👍
@@MotoGuy-ul6lp I can dig that. Why not minimize all the risks one can. Personally however, I think riding two wheels on a highway is way more risky than dancing in gasoline, and that's a risk I'm more than willing to take.
One errant spark and this guy is an instant human torch. He just stands casually in the middle of the gasoline puddle
Not to forget that he was doing 42 in what I'm guessing is a 30?
Yeah, he just rode straight into the car! So many of these bad riders do the same thing … 😂
@ArminGrewe It's a 40mph stretch along there ^.^
@@ma3stro681yup, no braking or even attempting to deviate from the path of trajectory at all
@@stormus65 fair enough, he gets off on that one then. Looked like a regular urban road with houses, pavement etc, which is why I was expecting it to be a 30. But I trust your local knowledge
21:08 i’m dead !!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 karma Time 😅😍🤣
How much longer do you think the drivers relationship lasted after that? The look on her face was priceless!
So many of these look like panic reactions to saveable situations! Though sitting here I can't tell how slippery the road was.
@1:05 that guy went down because he was checking out the female's riding position on the back of that motorcycle to the right good Lord!!!!
Motorcycle + Stoopid = Fun video to watch!👍
Seems like a good few of these was the old ‘adding throttle while adding lean’
This is what happens when idiots are given bikes for xmas.
is that why you are not with a bike ? Cuz you know u are an idiot ?
5:00, unlucky to be caught in a icy, sleety rain, very slippery, I don't think he would have stayed upright even if he had not ridden over the panted lines, hope you are OK brother.
100%, right on👍
7:30 'Runaway Fuel Pump' ...Fuel pumps have Emergency Shut Offs on the pump (RED BUTTON)...familiarize yourself with their location.
Almost no one keeps the distance.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
👍💯👍✌🤟👍
14:02 Nee fear unlocked 😂
13:01 WTF!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯
"stop following me"
"im not"
"well f**k off then"
"no i want to keep following you"
What a goose😂
Biggest thing I got from this video was never wear plain jeans when riding.
01:05 damn that backpack has some balls!!! Damn she was in sync with the lean
Lots of things that if my wife saw would tell me to sell my bike
3:56 😂Bro 😂 that guy is soo short lol 😂😆
90% de ces accidents auraient pu être évités !

Wet and oily roads, best excuse for failure and an irresponsibility life. Very entertaining!!! And yes I ride and I have had my crashes. All do to being reckless and selfish of the road.(never oily/ wet roads) Besides everyone. Knows oil and water don’t mix!!
Go to race on the track not on the public road or highway.
Dumped my ZX14R this year, too fifty mph straight up cold wet road and it just folded. Being the panzer it is, new lower body panel, all back up. I put a crash cage on it this time, lol
So many potatoes 😂
Some people ought to stop riding above their ability. Also, if you have zero situational awareness, please stay off a motorcycle.
Correct.....
These sports bikes scare the living day lights out of me I’m an older rider now ,but even before I got older I was scared of them I’m just a plodder a bit scared of speed ,I take my hat of to these guys
