Elevation is important to account for, also. Always check them charts and make sure nobody drilled the jets. I've drilled my jets many times. I should probably break down and buy a few kits...remember, too lean and she'll burn a hole in that piston.

One more thing, bud, want more top end? Go bigger diameter carb. It might make it slightly harder to start but will rev higher if your exhaust permits. And 2 strokes have an air screw, not a fuel screw. Dratv .Com for cheaper parts and they have a wealth of knowledge on Hondas and their clones.get a jet cleaning kit, they're cheap and they double as a jet gauge for the smaller pilot jets.
