Last year, I could NOT quite get the part where you toss the veil to the right, then left, then barrel turn before that third toss quite lands and then fold it over at the end... I couldn't understand how we ended up in that last pose.. just could not. This time, it came so naturally after not doing it for nearly a year. It's amazing how learning different types of moves over time can help you with some other move that you couldn't get at first. mindbody connection.. synapses... wow !

Hello Natassa - Thank you so much for your kind words and video request! I have to admit that I have never worn a face veil while dancing with the Shamadan - so I'm not sure I'm the best person to teach you how to do that! :)

Good question! I have never been able to find silk quite like this in a fabric store. I bought these particular veils at silvextribal.com.
