Thank you!!!!!! What happen to keeping it simple like popping the cover off and putting a new headlight in???? 😊😊 This is very informative... Thanks again.
I have a 2016 chevy malibu. The other 2016 video I found was telling me I had to take the whole damn bumper off n I was like aw hell na lol so after watching your video I feel much more confident. I'll letcha know how it goes 😂
I know this is an old video. But, you should NEVER touch the glass on the headlight bulb. It'll cause your headlights to have a much shorter lifespan. If you need to "grab" the bulb, use a dry shop towel to refrain from transferring hand grease to a spot; it weakens the bulb.
The headlight assembly other right (passrnger) side has an extra screw behind the bumper cover. Unscrew the two heavy-duty screws on top to let the bumper cover come down in the front. This will allow access to the hidden screw and allow removal of the right side assembly.
I replaced my driver side, but the lights did not turn on not sure why. I had to put the old one back one and it worked. I am giving it another shot on the weekend. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the video and your time. I was wondering if you had the part number for the headlight assembly or wherever you purchased this. Thanks a lot!!
Thank you man I'm glad I could help consider watching some videos on my other channel great outdoors I could use a few subs there thank you best of luck in 2020
All that work just to remove a headlight. I remember my 2000 grand prix’s headlight was held in by two bolts. Some newer cars you need to remove the bumper to take out the headlights.
Man you didn't have to do all that just pull out the windshield fluid nozzle twist it off and just pull the light out your miss leading the people they messing there cars up!
Why does it have to be complicated like this? There's another video where the windshield washer spout can be pulled out and then you can unscrew the bulb from the bulb housing
Thanks for being quick and not over explaining things. I've long believed that any do-it-yourselfer doesn't need the excess BS.
very understanding video you helped me so much with my headlight assemble .... I'm a women and did it myself and it works perfectly .
Good video just the way they should be made.Straight to the point.
Was planning to remove entire bumper cover to do same replacement on my 2015 malibu, until I saw this video. Thanks!

What a pain in the @$$! At least that isn’t a must for a simple bulb replacement! Thanks. Perhaps you should add “assembly” to the title.
