he can get away with it cause he takes trt but the average person shouldnt eat his vegan diet especially in that small eating window, vegan diets dont have great amino acid profiles arent bioavailable, have high carb to protein ratio and in that small window u cant get enough calories cause how of the volume of food you would have to eat to achieve the caloric goal
he's focusing on longevity , not muscle building , maybe it's not the best and fastest way to build muscle , but it's not the worse also he stopped trt
generally if you hit overall protein goal for the day youll be fine, especially if you can hit 3 meals. 4 and 5 meals + are diminishing returns and it wont have much of an effect. The increased sleep quality will probably have a more significant effect though, muscle is repaired and built while you sleep after all. keep in mind nutrition is only 1/3 of the battle, with training and sleep as the other 2.

If the idea is to have your heart beat as little as possible then surely regular cardio workouts which put your heart rate into zone 5 is not conducive to this theory
This is false. Let’s say your resting heart rate is 70, so 100,800 beats a day. But then you do an hour of cardio every day at 120 beats per minute (7,200 beats) and that lowers your heart rate to 50 beats per minute. Even with the hour of cardio every day at 120bpm you’re still only going to be at 76,200 beats per day vs the 100,800 with no cardio
Well if mammals get a billion heart beats, a lower resting heart beat if great..>EXCEPT there is a paradox here. If you were a sedentary couch slug and never worked out, you also used A LOT less heart beats.
