Would be nice to show where you hooked up smoke machine. Probably the evap sensor in front of engine.
Can you access the carbon canister & vent solenoid from under the seat also?
My 2011 Varacruz may need the valve replaced and dont want to drop the gas tank
no sorry, those are accessed from under the vehicle.
If only every car had easy access to the fuel pump. Does the smoke ever show up around the fuel pump or was that just being short on mineral oil?
it was low lol.
These issues happen most likely after a fuel level sensor replacement on both pump and right level sending unit. Plastic cracks when retightened. Fuel order in cabin, weak plastic on assemblies.
So what part did you have to replace? Fuel pump, gas tank, or there is some seal/gasket?
The fuel pump assembly was replaced to correct this issue.
