I purchased the Galaxy A04s & all other Samsung devices with my own money (over a one month ago) and spent a lot on importing it to my country. I agree but if you are only using your phone for only 1 year then you are doing it wrong! i've been buying flagships every 4-5 years and using them to the fullest at the end of life I just give them away to my family members as they are still in good shape. the problem when i was buying cheap phones was that they only lasted for 1-2 years so investing more money is worth it to me

I stick with Samsung after trying way too many brands. The A series is perfect for me because of the dual sim cards - I live in Hong Kong and the Philippines, so I have sim cards for each country, and I use a separate sim card for IDD.
With Samsung, you know what you get. Reliable, quality, and no-nonsense shit. :)
I went from Nokia to Samsung years ago. Having tried all kinds of shitty devices like Xiaomi, ZTE, Huawei, and such crap, I decided to get a decent phone. Lo and behold, you can't get a better phone than Samsung period. I can already hear a cry out from hard-core iPhone people. Their overpriced spyware-filled crap also runs with Samsung screens. So does the Ipad. ;)
Why? Because they are the best you can get, so is the Zeiss optics in the cameras.

I'm pretty sure the Exynos 850 doesn't have any AI accelerators, but have you ever considered doing any AI-focused testing on these or other low-cost phones.

Your video on the Tab A7 vs S7 was very helpful in determining if I should buy a Tablet I could afford or spend more money to get a better device. I bought a $200 Tab A8 64GB Model based on your Videos and im curious as to how the Tab A8 and S8 are Similar and also Different.

my secondary phone Samsung a22 has a secure folder and AOD even it running only in one ui core Idk why samsung keep doing this like in A33 5G there is no AOD even though it using super amoled. And what I like about samsung is that their entry lvl have a good camera.

Ebay wanted more for a core A03 than for the A04S so I brought this one in, if the A13 or 14 is mid-range maybe can upgrade later this year

I got mine for 129 euros it's really good! I recommend you this phone if your finding a phone for cheap but still good I got it because my old phones screen broke and it was cheaper to get a new phone

I am still enjoying the A04s. I think the A14 display and camera will be noticeably better, it's worth the wait if you think A04s isn't enough for you. I'm testing it out right now.

I'm sorry but I have the a04 and it's been great so I don't know why you wouldn't recommend it still has the 50mbs Camara still is snappy and fast enough it has served me well because my a20 fall when I went on a bike ride got the a04 as a quick replacement I didn't expect to like it this much the only thing I miss is that AMOLED display tho

Does it have security like Samsung Knox?
Not a big fan of the processor but a solid phone none the less. I like the camera, USB C, and refresh rate. The processor is actually worse compared to last year's galaxy A03 which is a bummer but for casual or back up use, this should be fine.
exynos 850 better than helio p35 ... so you are saying dat A03s processor is better tha A12 nacho? Never bro! it might be the ram configuration or kernel architecture (32 bit) of this device and a13 too
@@wavyx360 I'm referring to the A03 and not the A03s. The A03 has a T606 processor that has way better benchmarks and performance than the A04s's processor.

Just got one. A year after the video.
No more nexus 5 and galaxy s4.
When you've seen it done been there for the top of the range you realise it's just a handful of apps that get used.

Battery lasts for 2 days on standby.

Bro please adapt the 18:9 aspect ratio. Almost all phones these days comes with 20:9 screens. So 18:9 expect ratio makes more sense than 16:9.

I just bought one for my girlfriend today for 999 Dkr (144 $).
Well, we have a full 4G here in Denmark (5 G is coming soon) and not the crappy US system, so no problems with reception.
As it will be used as what it is built for, a mobile phone, and not gaming, it has plenty of power.
With Samsung, you know you get a quality device that won't let you down. For all those who buy overpriced, spyware-filled Iphone crap..good luck to you. Btw...every Apple device runs Samsung screens. ;)

I will say the thing I hate about these phones is in the trainings they say they are fast and reliable. The A02s and A03s are so bad and slow. Hopefully the 90hz screen will trick the brain into being fast, but I never recommend these phones. The A13 is even a mixed bag.
I've never had a phone freeze and tell me "System UI is not responding".
The "Core Edition" of One UI sucks hard.
I have a better time with the A20e that I've had since launch, which is supposedly weaker(on paper) yet runs normal One UI and runs circles around my A04s I bought to replace it.
Most apps crash, RUclips, Chrome, Samsung Keyboard, even basic games like Clash of Clans and Sonic CD.
As a lifelong Samsung user who's been on board since the E1100 series, I can't recommend this to anyone.

This is basically a international Samsung Galaxy A13 5G with lower storage and no 5G . So if you're in North America. The A04s is a Rebranded A13 5G with Lower Storage and no 5G
