Gfriend’s that group that sucks you in slowly. I wasn’t a big fan of them at first because I thought they were just another girly concept, but they proved that they are much more that!They can dance, sing, hit high notes, have good group chemistry, and make new songs while keeping their style. When you listen to a song, you can definitely tell it’s Gfriend. They have that signature magical/nostalgic/powerful/pure concept.

I would like to tell the buddies that, as you might think, many armys do not support gfriend only under the name of Bighit company. As an army and buddy, I support them for their own talent and their own music. Also know that bighit doesn't use girls as pawns for anything. Bighit and Source Music were together when starting this road. They always supported each other wholeheartedly and eventually decided to become one. Bts and Gfriend were almost trained together, and they took this path together. The difficulties and impossibilities they faced were almost the same. Therefore, the fandom of both groups know each other very well. Of course, there are people who should not be exemplified in both fandoms, but if we give these ridiculous people more roles to show themselves, it will only bring us to each other. we can all live peacefully.

I’m honestly glad that Gfriend decided to stick to their sound and concept, and add something else to it to make it unique. They’ve found their sound and they’re mastering it. I’ve been around since Navillera era and I loved their music ever since, because it gave me something I couldn’t find/ hard to find in the music industry. There’s something beautiful and nostalgic about their songs and I love it!!! 💜

A Review on the Snippets
1. Labyrinth - A pop synth song with the same vibe of "Awakening" album.
3. Here we are- is the twin sister of Gfriend's Flower Garden. Fast, yet sweet and beautiful.
4. Eclipse - the beat and tempo shows a party yet graceful vibes.
5. Dreamcatcher- this song is just pure beautiful, catchy and sweet. Just like when I first heard Gfriend's Trust.
6. From Me- slow, melancholic and Gfriend. Portrays a beautiful lyrical music full of emotion and genuineness.
2. Crossroads- a better sister of TFTMN than Sunrise. Has the same vibes, yet feels more complex, endearing and powerful.

This doesn't sound like different songs; it gives me a vibe, a feel, like all the melodies are connected. If you had an upbringing in Korea during the 80`s~90`s and spent school days, the image of this video and their outfits might give you the sense of standard you had back then. I`m just guessing here since I never had any younger days of my life in Korea though, I can imagine how it would be sounded like. Probably the creators decided to put nostalgy which I suppose they might have experienced. These photos are well shot based on the concept of a well-written script and I really liked them. Whoever in charge of shooting these photos and filming this video, he/she has a great pictorial sense. I am tremendously looking forward to watching the complete MV and see the outcomes. Incidentally, the girls in these photos are so attractive and beautiful.

I don't usually stan ANY girl group but these songs and the concept makes me want to stan them (not because they are under big hit labels) because they have the same vibe as most Ayumi Hamasaki power ballad songs that I've been a fan for almost 22 years! I've only been transitioned into the Kpop music for a few months and not many girl groups are to my liking. I would really love to hear more!

I don't know why some people are trying so hard to deny the fact that Gfriend is now a part of Bighit. Their songs are being composed, written and produced by Bighit staff, heck Bang PD himself wrote them two songs for this album, not to mention the fact that they worked together before but nobody really said anything. Their freaking debut album was recorded at Bighit. Plus THIS merg is different to any ordinary merging between companies since Bang shi hyuk and So Sung Jin
are best friends and planned things together. Lmao so far all of the videos have been posted in the Big Hit Labels channel. They changed the name of their yt channel to Big Hit Labels since it would probably be strange for new fans. Bighit wants to you to acknowledge this.

K - Updates Yea, of course they must be different, so I just point out that from what I have heard in the highlight medley of crossroad released by this official channel, gives me a similar feeling of time for the moon light. And of course the main reason must be they share the same composer, both of their style, the instrument used and the technical effect will be more or less the same.
