- There are a lot of new features and side-objectives added to RLCraft alongside harder to defeat mobs! You can do quests to unlock hats, pick locks now to get a ton of good loot (I assume the loot is good) and more! RLCraft is a Minecraft modpack that makes the game 100x harder and 100x more interesting to play!

Locks that are not steel or diamond can be blown up
in the new village building with cool torches there is secret room under it opened by moving a one of the torches and in that room under the karpet there is secret huge room and its full of book shelfs
@@hadikiller1418 it’s in the wine cellar and is the right hand torch in the only place that has a space for a secret hallway.

you need ~35 avian treat for one roc(You have to gain full experience)
You can call your horse, check the keybinds.
Also seems you missed the secret enchanting room in the secret room. Find it and check the bookshelves there should be two xptomes

the secret underground wine cellar in that villager mansion contains a candle stick that when flicked will open another secret enchantment area, which contains xp tomes and some basic materials
Edit: also you should make an iron canteen and charcoal filters to never be thirsty and get parasites
I suggest you unlock the ledge grab ability, it really helps out in bad situations

Im Fairly certain if you are riding on your horse and you use a waystone you and the horse will teleport so hopefully you can get the horse home

@@Juger Ah that really sucks on other mod packs ive played you've been able to bring them with you but Im geussing it works on the newer version because those mod packs were 1.16+
You can use any lockpick for any lock
The type of pick only changes it's chance of breaking. Cheapest is the Bobby Pin lock pic, using only sticks - and it's in the quest book
Also, the order of the pins do not change for that lock as long as the lock exists (even if you unlock it, then put it on another chest later). Write down the combination as you go in case you have to come back and try again later.

@@Juger oh I’m sure, but you’ll need way more than those 8 treats. More like 36 these days. Soul gazer will grant you 100 knowledge points,kills 25, and treats… 25 I think? You need knowledge 2 before you can tame one at all
to be able to pick up a backpack you can't be wearing a chestplate and then you crouch and break the backpack
For your Temp. problems now shaders matter because shadows can now affect your temp

get a hippogryph all you need is a regular saddle and a bunch of rabbit feet, atleast for early game it works beats taking the long route for a roc and you can still get a roc afterwards
Idk if they buffed it but rabbit feet are brutal to find

Before you start taming or summoning you may want to note the following:
- Each type of creature uses it's own special saddle, you now need an avian saddle for Rocs (Non-lycnite mobs like the Hippogryph still use normal saddles)
- You need knowledge rank 2 before being able to try taming or summoning (although feeding does increase your knowledge by a decent amount)
- Taming takes significantly more treats then before, ideally have at least 20 treats leftover after getting to rank 2

@@chrism852 Yeah A guy I was watching taming a Roc took exactly 16 treats. Instead of the old system each treat now increases a taming guage out of 1000 by a random amount but not sure on the upper/lower range. Guy I was watching took exactly 16 to tame a Roc despite his first giving 147

You can use diamond lockpickers for every lock or just make a stack of iron ones, also get an epion, the saddle for epion is easier to craft and they also spawn pretty frequently
you need way more avian treats shiv made it way way harder to get mounts

So the summoning staff is nerfed into oblivion xD Not only you need rank 2 knowledge, but their damage no longer scales with the weapon you are holding. Lycanites in general need rank 2 knowledge for anything now; even taming. For example, if you have rank 1 Raiko, you'll need ~40 treats to tame it (you can get knowledge points from killing, breeding, using treats or a soulgazer on lycanites). As for lockpicking, if you hear a high pitch click sound, that means one of the pins next to the one you pressed is the correct one.
Shivaxi probably over nerfed this imo. If he made the scaling with one of the crappier race rings I think that would be a nice way to make that ring and summoning fun again.
@@scottchristofersen2367 as far as I understood, it was a bug. Minions/pets were never meant to deal that much damage

@@frostylumberjack22 okay so… I don’t care if it was a bug… but it wasn’t as lycanites in other packs use the modifiers on your weapon. Shivaxi may have considered it that way, but again I don’t care because… I think it would be a good addition to the race rings that currently suck because they are so under powered that no one will use them.
The zombie with effects without effects just had flaming thorns enchantment I n his helmet
Honestly the temperature kills me way more than anything else. If I change anything to make it more playable it would be that.
i think its because burning thorn in the zombie's armor
15:50 I saw the baby zombie as the biggest threat
actually when there is a chest blocked just pich him because with a button you can carry block so carry them in your base make a bunker with every chest you take from dungeons and villagers house , and i recommand you take a ventoraptor ( avian threat ) they are really good fighters and mount when you do the X button you dash and you can spam it with the ventoraptor you dont take fall damage and are really good in battle towers take a roc is bassically useless when you spawn one they run away my roc go away and let me on a mermaid rock in the ocean
Can't wait to see him discover you need avian saddle instead of regular saddle. And the summoning staff really help early game because you can get a healer + many bodyguard to gank on the enemies (summoning staff is underrated, fact)
the summoning staff isn’t really that useful, just trying to be able to unlock the stuff you wanna summon takes forever now

If you press numpad 9 while on your horse you can bind the horse to you, then teleport it to you by whistling with numpad 4 or 5. Could have just teleported home and teleport the horse home and skipped the whole ordeal.
I thought it was 8 to bind and 7 to call… but yeah.

When you are riding a horse . You can press 8 on the numeric keypad to make it your personal horse . Then you can press 7 to call it anywhere in the overworld.
I just use the stick lock picks on all the locks I pick. Some locks have an enchantment that force you to use picks of the same or higher quality as the lock… but those are very rare so far for me.

Gold are the worst lockpick material because they break easily. Always use iron or diomands ones.
i was under the impression you had to use a certain lock pick for each lock, i get it now tho!

you don't necessarily need to use a gold lock pick on the gold lock you can use other types but they break easier
maybe you should use a hopper and put it under the chest
I think you had a hat that give you regen buff

You can use wooden lock picks for any rarity of lock but its hard
I have seen someone sitting on the horse and using a waystone at the same time and teleport both idk if it stil works
you need to make canteens, for water
You can make a horse your personal horse numpad 8 and than call it and it will teleport this can be done using the numpad 7
I know it's from vanila mc but make a sheep farm and a cow farm. It'll help a lot,i promise.

All mobs gave us extremely damage but then if they are our pets they do nothing.
There is a new mod called callable horses. With P you can make it a personal horse and with another keybind you can whistle to call it! If he is close he runs to you and if far he teleports to you
