    That night Khabib gave us one of the most satisfying moments in combat sports history

    • @VotEtoPizdets
      @VotEtoPizdets Год назад

      Indeed. Khabib truly showed the world what a powerful mind can accomplish. What a dedicated mind can accomplish. Conor can make any excuse he wants for the loss. Bottom line is that none of them would have mattered. If he had trained properly, if his foot had been fully healed, if he hadnt drank heavily leading up to the fight, he would have still lost. Khabib is a whole other level of fighter. A higher caliber fighter, man and overall human being. Conor was outskilled, outclassed and overwhelmed. Khabib has the ability to focus his mind and dedicate himself far more than Conor ever will. Hes been training his mind to serve God for his entire life. God is everything to him. Therefore, when hew devotes himself to winning for God, he will fight with everything he has because failing God is not an option. This is why Khabib will always win. Call it superstition, call it fake, i dont care what your religious views are. A man who lives for God with every fiber of his being, thats a dangerous man to fight. Because everything he cares about is on the line in that moment and that is alot of motivation.

      Im not a McGregor fan and have never been. For me the #1 is Max Holloway.
      Why would you assume and be so dead wrong? There is something in you that forces/urges you to tell the whole world what I think, even though you are dead wrong.
      Its the same principles that got a lot of women killed in the "witch trials" . Most of the world moved on from that mentality, but no you... why is that?
      Please try to answer the questions as I believe we need to end that attitude due to the suffering it causes. We cant do it without knowledge about it, we can only get knowledge about it by researching it, thats where we are.

Only reached Level 2... Oh well... Anyhow, through all the years, fights, and commentators, I find Khabib to be one of the most Humble, Focused, respectful, talented, determined fighters I have ever seen! I highly doubt Khabib would ever see this, (keeping his distance from Social Media) but if he does...

That can't be said for Conor and this is from professions not fanboys. No one calls Conor the GOAT. Khabib has nothing to prove there is no one left. How many champions has he fought?
      Poirier and McGregor were the only notable fighters he fought and both of them are past their prime. There were a few Brazilians that were good opponents, respectable wins against them. There’s two other guys in his weight class with the same number of wins and BJ Penn has 30 wins and many more fights. Same number of title defenses. Khabib is top five these days. All he needs is one more title defense and two more wins to take the top slot in history. Disappointing to say the least. Maybe he will come back.

    I like how Khabib didn't go for a choke under the chin but a cross between a neck lock and a neck crank. Much more painful as he was actually twisting conor's jaw against conor's shoulder tighter and tighter like a valve handle. 😅

    I think Conor and his team's strategy of 'letting khabib come to him' was the biggest reason for their failure, because once a guy like khabib comes at you and takes you to the ground you have almost zero chances of escaping unharmed, he will drain your energy in less than a minute. The best way for Conor was to use his strength which is striking, and bring down heavy striking in the first round itself. Because once khabib took him down, he looked helpless

    • @filipe10messiyou
      @filipe10messiyou 2 года назад +77

      Actually, the biggest reason for Conor's failure was that Khabib was light years above him in MMA skill

    • @yousefibrahim1436
      @yousefibrahim1436 2 года назад +32

      They simply underestimated khabib's understanding of boxing. He knows how to feint ,keep conor guessing and how to circle away from conor's power. And the karate stance thing didn't work on him because conor wasn't able to counter properly because he was afraid of the take down.
      Conor did a good job grappling wise but in the end he got tired and just quit because he realised he just couldn't win the fight. He literally tapped as a logical decision, you can see him thinking about it. He didnt tap out of pain.
      They thought khabib was just a bigger chad mendez basically and tried to implement similar strategies

    • @imranpaseli6176
      @imranpaseli6176 2 года назад +19

      Khabib pressed every opponent he fought with, Conor didn't have a choice on that. Khabib was just ahead of Conor skill wise. Conor was the better striker but you can see Khabib almost dropped him. He was just ahead of Conor

      Look back th entire history of Khabib, Not just Conor anyone khabib took down looked helpless under his grip, like the prey looks under the lion's grip.

    • @ericbadu3726

      Only problem is Khabib came forward and took down people in all his fights. Connor had no chance.
