  • In this video I build a crevice pump using a small toy ball, a handle & shaft from a broken snow shovel and some pvc pipes. It's cheap but selfmade and it's doing the job. :o)

I put a 45 in the suction tube, and a tic-tac-toe pattern stiff wire classifier screen in a coupling on the end. It sucked up rocks big enough to plug it, before the wire screen device. 2 inch and one inch PVC. Handle end cap secured with small stainless screws to allow for disassembly.

Hi, I have used a 50mm tube (outside diameter). The ball diameter is about 48mm.@@gabrieleavp178

@@gabrieleavp178think people usually go with the 50mm pipe, so 2 inch.
      Normal sized tennis ball.

same problem here, I've used 50mm diameter pipe and the same pet ball but it seems really too large to fit in... is that a 60mm pipe? or maybe the ball is smaller than ours(LOL)?

Maybe choose a pipe diameter according to the ball size. The key is that the seal (ball) fits not too tight and not too loose. I chose this setup cuz i saw pumps with full size tennis ball seal, and they are too big, unhandy, hard to carry and not work well with small nozzles to get into crevices and between rocks.

@orktv vielleicht ein Rohr passend zum Tennisball kaufen. Habe aber extra keinen normal großen Tennisball genommen, weil die Pumpe dann zu groß und unhandlich wird. Grüße
