Toy #9 was not "Recalled". It was omitted. Since there was no #9 given out, there can't be a recall for something that was never issued to the public. 😮

The grimmace is odd. Either it cameout in a different country in 1990 or is supposed to be like the 1991 grimace on bike. Thd hamburgler originally came with a snap on spider halloween suit.
I've never been a Hello Kitty fan but I seriously need that reading Hello Kitty in my life now lol.
They are doing a set later this year for the 45th anniversary for Happy Meals. Perhaps they will do this again. I wonder what the 9th toy was.

#14 originally came with 2 poseable legs, 2 poseable arms AND a zord to ride in. Funny thing, is they were not in happy meals..but sold as a,separate item. Later , many mcds restraunts did put them in happy meals after promo ended if they had leftovers.
Also the Hamburgler figure originally had a Halloween costume with him. Why do I feel, as cool as this set is, it was literally factory bulk?
If McDonald’s happy meal can do a 45th anniversary maybe they should make more retro toys

This one of the rarer sets because there was a "gap" between promotions so for like 2 weeks this was going on and went by unnoticed.

The #27 McDonald's car in this set kinda resembles Jimmy Spencer's McDonald's car that he drove in 1994. He also won the Daytona 500 in that car.
