- We are onboard the Celebrity Equinox for our 10-day cruise to the Southern Caribbean, where we will be visiting Antiqua, St Lucia, Barbados, Martinique and St Kitts.
In today’s video, we give you a detailed review of this 15-deck mid-sized ship that was built in 2009 and updated in 2019.

► Who are we?
We’re Rob and James, partners in crime and life for over 10 years. With our dog, Oscar, we love travelling, exploring the world and experiencing new things.
For the past few years, we have spent a month in the winter in warmer climes but the pandemic put paid to that so we decided to explore more of our beautiful home country, the UK.
At the start of 2021 we purchased our first motorhome and boy, was it a steep learning curve. We sold that at the start of 2022 and ordered a new campervan - the story got complicated but we are currently vanless so wanted to continue sharing our travels with you.

Thank you for the Equinox ship tour. I love sailing on Holland America. We have sailed on Carnival the most, but have done 1 Princess back in the early 2000's and recently tried Norwegian on the Breakaway and really liked that ship. We are going on the Equinox on May 21st and this will be my second Celebrity cruise, my first Celebrity was back in 2003.😊

Hi. You mention a food review and that you didn’t have the best experience at the MDR. Can you summarise please as we board on the 22nd this month and expect you won’t have released that video in time. Loved all the others. Thank you for giving us such a good insight into what lays ahead.
Funny. I just finished editing the food review. Our cruise was one of the first that was full capacity and I don’t think they had enough staff in MDR so was a little chaotic and the tables are very close together (ask for one by a window). The food was good but the ambience wasn’t so great. It is fine but I think you should book some of the speciality restaurants too. Have a fab cruise.

How would you compare this ship to the Celebrity Infinity?? Will be on the Equinox with family in mid April coming up, and sailed on the Infinity this past August.
I am going on this ship in 2 1/2 weeks and have been on the ship before, but never understood why I had to work so hard to get water or simple drinks without having to pay for them on a ship that gives you all you can eat. Paying $26 a day is ridiculous to have water or soda and having to go from one end to the other to get it when at the pool.
I’ve had some kind of drinks package so not had this issue but you’re right. I guess the ship wants to upsell upsell upsell!
What would you say the age range was? I'm 32 and my mom is older and we were curious on this ship from the other videos I've seen it looks to be a much older crowd.
It was a really mixed bag. You won’t feel out of place on board. The average age was older on our cruise (not during school holidays) and the advantage of that was that there were many children on the cruise. You’ll love it
Cool video are you currently on the ship we were in that room last week had to leave early due to medical emergency at home I lost some jewellery of great sentimental value…… maybe it’s under the bed
Sorry to hear. No we are no longer on the ship. Did you contact Celebrity about the jewellery?
I would have love to see what the fitness center actually looked inside, instead of the just doors 🤷🏽♂️

I always felt the Art auction was silly and always questioned what the auctioneer thought they were worth.
I guess art sells though (or they wouldn’t do it!)
