I love to watch nail videos because i find them so relaxing and satisfying, I have always had a passion for doing nails when I was younger i always had a bunch of polishes and recently i have been back into doing nails and I am a beginner nail tech. I just lost my dad as well so watching these videos really help me ease my mind as well as practicing new techniques

I’m starting out with acrylic, and I also use young nails powders! But i’m having a lot of trouble with the white and coloured acrylic compared to the clear, can you explain why they apply so differently and how to use them?

Hey sweetie 🤗 I have been doing nails for a little over 2 years at first I would watch them to know what I had coming at nail school. As I have perfected my prepping skills and shaping now I watch all new videos to get inspired. It's always very relaxing for me to watch nail videos. I watch nail videos because I wanted to learn how to do my own nails. I have been doing them now for about 3 years! Started out doing acrylics but now starting to get into gels more. I made mistakes in the beginning of course but like you said don't get discouraged, just keep working at it. Whenever I didn't understand what I was doing wrong I could always find a RUclips video explaining how to fix it. It is a great skill to have. I love being able to create art on my hands and being able to pat myself on the back after creating something amazing.

I’ve never seen anyone finish off with a sanding band I’ve only seen this used on natural nails. 🤯 def. have to try it next time

I like watching it because I want to do my own nails. There’s a nail salon by my apt I have always gone to but they must have changed staff because the newer ones I have had horrible experience with. Since Dec 2021 they did such a bad job that I decided to do my own nails. I am just not good at applying the acrylic smooth yet. Also how do I keep my light color acrylic nails from getting dirty?
That’s good that you’re trying to learn, you can always smooth everything out with your file while you’re practicing. Try a clear cap of acrylic or a nice gel top coat 💖
