    I think the key in swirling is the texture of soap batter. I have spoilt my swirls and the whole thing because the soap had thickened after reaching trace too quickly

    • @TreeMarieSoapworks
      @TreeMarieSoapworks  3 года назад +1

      You are right, the texture matters. 💕 I usually only stick blend till an emulsion is reached. Then patience is needed to wait for the proper trace.

      Warm, softened water makes the best suds. I don't see how that would work with a fire extuinguisher though.

    Hello, these swirl techniques are amazing. I see you have recipes on your website. Is there one in particular that could be used in most or all of these swirl techniques? Thanks.

    • @TreeMarieSoapworks
      @TreeMarieSoapworks  2 месяца назад +1

      All of the recipes are pretty slow-moving. Of course, you can't over stick blend, or pick an accelerating fragrance. I spoke about tips on acceleration in the Chevron video. That recipe and the Budding Vine recipe are the same, which I recommend. The Marble one is good as well. ✨️

    I tried to make some simple feathered shapes in my soap, but it keeps solidifying too early. Once I used both the oil and the lie at room temperature and mixed all by hand, but then the soap remained very soft. how do you slow down the saponification to have time for all these complex shapes?
