Another excellent video Paul you certainly can tell winter's fast approaching the ground conditions are starting to get sticky it begins to make things harder when it's like this but it's not a problem for a good backhoe driver keep up the excellent work pal 😊👌👍
Hi Benny, thank you for watching and the comment. I think this was later summer when we had the rain, It doesnt take alot of the wet stuff to make a big difference to the ground conditions - it makes working alot harder for man and machine, sticks to everything too
That’s some project your on , did I spot some one else havin a go to hook up the bucket 👍 , that’s the way 😊, is your conceal the original one or replacement, my rev counter has stopped working, occasionally it comes to life then stops , hours work fine , u was told you can get replacement but you need conversion cable to fit , as they don’t make the exact one now ? Anyway interesting vid , nice to see the project evolving , good filming , young en in cab , great family affair , well done team 👍
Hey Hartley! Its been nice to have been able to film the job, this is not always possible. when I bought this machine several years ago, the rev counter was not working, I replaced the whole console with a new unit from Vicary, yes you are correct about needing an adapter cable, I had to cut the old plugs off the stock loom and soldered the new loom on, all works fine, If its just the rev counter you have issues with, I would first be looking at the signal wire on the back of the alternator, this could have a break in it and be causing your sometimes working and sometimes not working rev counter?
I do have plans on doing something with the play in the quick hitch bucket area, the rest of the machine has been looked at and new pins and bushes fitted were needed, we may need line boring to be carried out to do the job right! I'll make a video of the work if I can! 😊👍
