Assetto corsa is harder to learn because of mods but after u learn how to deal with them assetto corsa can be one of the best driving sims
AC or iRacing are probably the best driving sims, and i'd say mod support for AC takes it that one step above iRacing even though I prefer iRacing's phyiscs

there is open world in asseto corsa, and you can make the graphics amazing
graphics really arent great in fh5, neither in assetto really

I should have gone with Forza Horizon 5. My Assetto Corsa game failed and nobody knows how to fix it. The developers suggest I read industry articles and maybe someday I will find out how to fix their expensive product.
Assetto is the best driving experience I've ever had on a PC/Console and I have played them all since the original NFS back in the day. The best thing for me are the realistic physics, graphics (with mods) and online servers that allow me to race my favorite GT cars on the best laser scanned tracks in the world like Spa, Monza, Nordschleife, etc. Play AC with a wheel and in VR and you can forget what's real and what's a game sometimes. Forza horizon, as fun as they be for their open world, are arcade games, and will never match AC for me. The realism aspect is what makes AC so great. Not only do you learn how to drive better, it's like a car encyclopedia, almost any car can be found and downloaded for free, and the paid mods out there are amazing too. I doubt I'll ever buy an arcade racer again now that I'm in to AC. I even ended up buying all the other modern sims too, to compare which I like more, rF2, AM2, iRacing, RRE, etc, and I always go back to AC

yes. i play on my pc with vr and a full sim rig. assetto is the one, no question. my fav racing game. before i got on to pc i was a forza person. not anymore.
to be honest ofcorse some people will think that the supra in forza sounds much better but also look at that that it took a whole team of people to take audio and make it fit in the game while the supra is made maybe by one person or couple people. Props to the assetto modding community they really make some gems (like drifting dinosaurs)

My favorite part about forza is not spending 2 hours downloading random shit just to have a Supra in the game.

Assetto corsa driver havin to neutral check every rev is literally me irl😅😂
They ready the "shift" animation in ACC so by the time you hit shift the hand is already there to make it look more real whereas in other games the shift animation only happens when you do shift so the animation becomes delayed and unrealistic.
It's like a hint when to shit up. Not just in neutral

the car is in all points better than in forza 5, but the map looks very better in Forza 5 and you have a open world, and you can easy make a colonne/group with other friends and drive over the wide world or make a championship ...
But the car from assetto corsa is in all points better tan in forza5. Sound, Graphic, the movement, the reflexions, the camera, ...

What I find very unfortunate about Forza Horizon 4 is that you can't see the dashboard area very far. it seems like the one who drives a car at forza horzion is super small someone who sees the bank far ahead as if my grandmother is behind the wheel asseto corsa you are more behind you really have the feeling of being in a sports car. The Forza turbo sound physics are fake.
When I played it I used the best turbo for a Ford Bronco and I noticed that the car turbo even spools at 1000 rpm and same spool sound throughout all rpm ranges
AC Sound is good untill it cuts out at the rev limiter. Thats unfortunate when it comes down to mods. They are great but not perfect sadly.

STOP ARGUING. Its just 9 year olds who dont know how to look up a guide on how to setup assetto and have just played Forza and dont know shit. Search up blob assetto corsa graphics and you will see some amayzing graphics and the people saying trees are 2d THERE ARE LITTERALY MODS FOR THAT ASWELL. Assetto will never die because of mods. It will only get more popular considering more people are becoming intrested in cars then ever before. I find the modding and setup proccess kinda fun. Its a part of ac you know. I wouldnt want to replace it for instantly max graphics and all mods you would ever ask for. Forza isnt a bad game. But comparing it to the game with better graphics (IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT MODS) The better physics and a FULLY customisable game. You have to know NOTHING about assetto corsa to think Forza is better

I've tried to like FZ5, but it is too arcadey on the physics. That AC has some awesome physics. The cars feel more real in AC. FZ is great with a controller, but the wheel game is severely lacking.

I think assetto corsa is way better than forza. Assetto corsa has like every car you can imagine even though forza has a large storage. Also, once you know the way assetto corsa modding works, you can even make it look and feel better than forza horizon 5

Expensive... it usually on steam sale costs like 12 bucks. Modding takes discipline and being thorough.

I know people want Assetto Corsa to be superior... but reality is different. No amount of modds can ever compete against multi billion dollar company like Microsoft. Only way to play Asseto is with a wheel. And that is very VERY nieshe market. Lets see what Forza Motorsports can bring to "simulation" area. They called it's gonna be most advanced physics model EVER done in ANY game. I think that includes AC... Only time will tell.
