One of your videos made me download Nein Individual's Firmament (shortly after Worlds Part 1 update), and it was a fantastic decision. I want to thank you both for getting me into the game, and for creating such refreshing and fun content around it. I was having kind of a shitty evening and this silly video gave me back my smile.
Really hope we get a space update one day, where we don't suffocate by going out into space. Plus, getting out of our ship in space would be a nice touch. :)
OMG my entire guild did this!! We had to keep putting down new computers. We used sandworms at times so they can go up players built platforms, but had to be careful of course. Used them due to gravity, fear of falling, and going up ramp faster after getting more materials The interesting part was taking down all these base computers o_o We even jumped from freighters to get to some glitchy spots Was a fun project, but have to say, never did quite make it to the moon

If you wana mine Ferrite and Carbon fast, put Infra-Knifes on your ship, max them out with as much tech as possible, and fly around as slow as possible shooting the ground. It's very effective.

Cool vid man, next time use booster plates for track building to get up the ramps faster. It is possible though, me and my friend cleared a planet to a moon in Eissentam last week, 10 000 au, with almost +800 life support gel packs. My friend almost got roadkilled by a Korvax capital ship, lol
Hey Dirt I just want to let you know that because of you I have also tried getting to space using stairs, and I'm disappointed because it just made me die really fast and not swim in the air
I tried extensively to do it but the moment you touch the other planet everything from the one you were on unloads. Even if you can walk from the surface of one onto the other you can't physically connect structures between them since the planets are completely seperate instances.
So, in theory, with a mind bogging amount of resources, and bootlegging a way to stay alive along the way, it could be possible to build a road from one planet to another? Some of them aren't that far apart.
Unfortunately structures unload when you leave the planet they're attached to, so you can't build between two different ones as only one will be loaded at a time. I found two small colliding planets that you could literally walk from one and onto the other and spent quite a bit of time trying to build between them, but it just doesn't work due to the way they're loaded.
Can you strip a whole planet off its soil? And leave only the bedrock that you can not get with the terrain manipulator? Is it doable? Will it take months? Will the other side regenerate? And how would such a planet look from space?
Here's the question I have, since you tried so many time consuming things. So, the question is: can you destroy a planet entirely? With landscape modifier, can you make significant changes so they are visible from space?

It is totally possible with your capital ship in between 2 planets in close proximity. The trick is to find two next to eachother with high mountains or an atmosphere high enough. Also pack some life support gel. a LOT of gel.

The reason why the platforms twisted was probably because you didn't build straight in a cardinal direction. Might be worth testing out.
