Welcome back Grandma and Big Daddy, we missed you. ❤️ Justin, is there anything that your kids can not do? Such hard working, hard playing kids. Love it.
Double fry is amazing... Maybe the pigs miss people, or everytime they get out they are rewarded with people and food? Find people, get food. I think the smarties have this figured out. Lollll. Great day on the farm-- problem solving.
The day that everything went wrong that could go wrong and a few extra besides! The blessing after the storm of problems, a hike with your sons, a beautiful view at the top of the mountain, memories to last a lifetime!! 👍💕☺️
Maybe moving them more often in like a circle? Create a larger square that you want to cover, then move them to a quadrant once every day or two? They'd still be working but working on something different every day. Pigs are smart. Give them more mental stimulation. Tether ball?
I won best fries in the city once with this recipe. Cut and soak in water for at least an hour the more the better. Drain and fry at 325 for 5 min. Cool overnight and fry for dinner at 375 for 3-4min.
I'm surprised you didn't move the pigs over a little since you thought they were bored. Looks like they have nothing to do in that spot. They look so healthy! I love to see the boys cooking.
And those little piggies went wee, wee, wee all the way home. I think they want company, they may be lonely. Just a guess. They are being very 'pigheaded' about getting out. LOL Hope your plan D works. ❤
Human and pig poop is similar in make up. Omnivores, y'all. Plus those guys are smart. They think. Put a camera on them and see what they do when you aren't around. Give them a toy to play with. Love watching all the problem solving. You all work so hard. Thanks for sharing.
I am really feeling for you on this video Justin. There are days when things just seem to go wrong, one after the other. I hope you can get some good rest one day soon. You deserve it, and you need it. I know that's hard to do on a farm, and with a family, but maybe you can get the kids to do ALL of the afternoon chores a few times so you can rest. What do you think?
Maybe the pigs need a more interactive fenced in area? (Balls and charred branches)Your other ones almost had a jungle to deconstruct. These might just be smart and bored.
we ziptied 6 pig panels in a pentagon with one joint held by bungies for access and moved our 2 goats all over our property. even in bushes and around trees
You usually have the pigs in a more forested area where there is a lot more stuff to root around in. They don’t look hungry. They just want to see the whole farm. 😂😂.
I enjoyed the video ♡♡♡ The scenery was Absolutely Gorgeous ♡♡♡ Again, I Love seeing children being brought up to do chores♡♡♡ They will learn a valuable lesson ♡♡♡ GOD BLESS EVERYONE ♡♡♡ GOD IS SO GOOD♡♡♡ The ham and fries look so Delicious ♡♡♡
So nice to see the boys having time out and having fun. They amaze me your boys Jonah can turn his hand to anything even cooking, love how you let him xx
Tin panel them up. Hog panels too. The electric fences on metal should work better than what you are using. If that doesn't work then harvesting would.
🐽🧡🐽 When I see these 🐖pigs 🐖 in action... these Charlotte’s Web 🕸🕷 Quotes come to mind.... 😂🐖😂🐖 “Wilbur didn’t want food, he wanted love. “We take to the breeze, we go as we please.” “Good things come to those who find it and shove it in their mouth!” “Salutations are greetings; it’s my fancy way of saying hello.” “A miracle has happened and a sign has occurred here on earth, right on our farm, and we have no ordinary pig.” I 💚LOVE THIS CHAPTER OF THE HOMESTEAD MOVIES 😂♥️😂♥️😂♥️🐖🐖♥️😂😂
Not a bad idea but I stopped doing that because the feed can end up getting pushed onto their manure and then they accidentally eat that and could get sick.
maybe the pigs are looking for a water spot to cool off why there getting out? seems they were tryin to make one w/ there water? not sure but i LOVE yalls family
I’ve noticed you haven’t been feeding this batch of pigs much charcoal, atleast not as much as the deep bedded pigs. Could they be searching for some minerals or something?
If it was me I would just put poly wire and green post that way even if they root up around the polywire it's not going to affect it by the time they get close to that polywire it's going to zap them good
LOL the pigs just saunter on up to you. LOL You said once that videos are better with children and puppies. You can add Idaho Pasture Pigs to the list. :)
Dang it Justin, you have me going out every 2 weeks and building up my Compost pile . . . just to let the Hens pull it all down. 😉 What have you started?
Now that they know they can get out I think the only way to stop them getting out it an iron fence they can not break or just harvest them and start over with new piglets
Hi Justin love the videos. But we hard wire all our fences and you will have way less work. The pigs can free range every area. Just put up real fences and you will save so much time and money. As u get older you will not want to be doing all this moving animals. Use real fences hard! You won't regret it. Our pigs are so happy. Less work and they are safe never get out. Just some advice take it or leave it electric is way more work.
Oh NO! Those nasty pigs have gotten themselves in a pickle! How long do you have to go before the last day? At least they come back to the house. Can't you close the place where the food is at the house? Will they go after all your gardens too? This is 2020 and surely a strange year, they didn't want to feel left out! Sending prayers for the pigs to stay put! Lets hope tomorrow is better!
those pigs are social dudes...they want to be with their people...much more interesting stuff to see and do....I've made this comment before but I genuinely do not understand why you aren't moving them to an area with more vegetation and stuff for their to root and forage.
pig plan Q: the pigs have moved into the house. Lilly is teaching them to milk, Gideon is secretly teaching them to find shoes. ☮️
@Justin Rdodes you should put up a game trail cam or gopro to watch what they're doing when they get out.
Pigs are among the smartest farm animals. They’re having fun! I’m afraid you’re stuck with escape artists. Change their names to “ Houdini Bro.s. 🤪
Welcome back Grandma and Big Daddy, we missed you. ❤️ Justin, is there anything that your kids can not do? Such hard working, hard playing kids. Love it.
Those stinkers! They just walk up like nothing and are like "hey!! hi!!!, it's us, here we are"!
OMG i know its not funny but watching the pigs meet you at the house makes me giggle...the pigs are so darn cute and so darn sassy.
Double fry is amazing...
Maybe the pigs miss people, or everytime they get out they are rewarded with people and food? Find people, get food. I think the smarties have this figured out.
Lollll. Great day on the farm-- problem solving.
I think the pigs are trying to tell you that it’s time to move them. They’re bored with the current location.
Justin, I don't think you are given enough credit for all the stuff you do on camera one-handed. I don't know how you have the patience for it.
I think I know the title of tomorrow’s video
The Pigs Escaped | Plan E
The day that everything went wrong that could go wrong and a few extra besides! The blessing after the storm of problems, a hike with your sons, a beautiful view at the top of the mountain, memories to last a lifetime!! 👍💕☺️
Give them a big horse ball to play with, hanging cabbages.
Maybe moving them more often in like a circle? Create a larger square that you want to cover, then move them to a quadrant once every day or two? They'd still be working but working on something different every day. Pigs are smart. Give them more mental stimulation. Tether ball?
Oops, forgot to get the eggs out......made my day!
I admire your patience with those two pigs... Thought they would be bacon by now. :)
Those pigs are my spirit animals. They just want to have a fun day out.
I won best fries in the city once with this recipe.
Cut and soak in water for at least an hour the more the better.
Drain and fry at 325 for 5 min.
Cool overnight and fry for dinner at 375 for 3-4min.

This particular breed of pig doesn't seem to suit your situation..
And those little piggies went wee, wee, wee all the way home. I think they want company, they may be lonely. Just a guess. They are being very 'pigheaded' about getting out. LOL Hope your plan D works. ❤
One of those days when you have the Midas touch, everything you touch turns into a muffler.
Your a good Dad!
Good evening Rhodes family hope you all have a blessed weekend and get a little rest today. God bless see you next video like always.

Your pigs are channeling their inner goat !!!

Those 2 pigs are perfect candidates for early freezer camp ✊🏾 BTW that looked like a great “Men Only Men Hike”
Don’t know how
But I m supper addicted to your channel 💕
I love you all so much
Maybe the pigs need a more interactive fenced in area? (Balls and charred branches)Your other ones almost had a jungle to deconstruct. These might just be smart and bored.
The double fry works best with a lower temp fry for 2-3 min, then higher temp for the remainder. Great tip.
Maybe they're lonely, need human contact.
Oh that walk across the mountain Sooooo!! Pretty!
we ziptied 6 pig panels in a pentagon with one joint held by bungies for access and moved our 2 goats all over our property. even in bushes and around trees
we can send pictures if you're interested
I like this idea.
LOL, that pig poop isn't going to hurt you by just being on your hands. Too funny!
You usually have the pigs in a more forested area where there is a lot more stuff to root around in. They don’t look hungry. They just want to see the whole farm. 😂😂.
i love how Josiah loves that dog
You need to move the water away from the fence, so when they do knock it, it won't knock down the fence.
So nice of you taking them some where for a hike ♥️♥️
I enjoyed the video ♡♡♡ The scenery was Absolutely Gorgeous ♡♡♡ Again, I Love seeing children being brought up to do chores♡♡♡ They will learn a valuable lesson ♡♡♡ GOD BLESS EVERYONE ♡♡♡ GOD IS SO GOOD♡♡♡ The ham and fries look so Delicious ♡♡♡
Family, Food, and Fun...
So nice to see the boys having time out and having fun. They amaze me your boys Jonah can turn his hand to anything even cooking, love how you let him xx
yipeeeeeeeeeee for the hike!! fun stuff!
aren't the pigs just bored...
Maybe you should give them some toy's/something to destroy?
Haha Haha these are really smart pigs lol. They are lonely up there by themselves. I'm telling you that's the problem!!!
they are bored, get them a couple of bowling balls from goodwill....lol, that will give them something to play with..lol
Tin panel them up. Hog panels too. The electric fences on metal should work better than what you are using. If that doesn't work then harvesting would.

The pigs are social animals who want to be near the family! Try putting them closer to the house and other people!
Maybe you could spread some of the feed for the pigs on the ground to keep them more intrigued I don’t know just an idea
Not a bad idea but I stopped doing that because the feed can end up getting pushed onto their manure and then they accidentally eat that and could get sick.

So sweet of them to come by every time tho ;)

I laughed as soon as i saw the title.
Maybe they need a larger space.
Those pigs act like pets.
IDK, I hope this is the end to pigs escaping. Love your videos
Hello Justin . I love to watch your videos ❤❤
They say you are what you eat
Pay attention after those pork chop dinners if your feeling adventurous😂
Now that they know they can get out I think the only way to stop them getting out it an iron fence they can not break or just harvest them and start over with new piglets
give them a bigger enclousure.are those ones not grass eating pigs perhaps they want to have grass
spray them with your water a couple times a day, pigs like water...ps, will all those water lines freeze this winter? just wondering.
Hi Justin love the videos. But we hard wire all our fences and you will have way less work. The pigs can free range every area. Just put up real fences and you will save so much time and money. Some days just wont coöperate ...
The pigs come to tell you it’s food time!
Justin, perhaps you should show those pigs your smoker? Lol 😊
They say that piggies are smart little beggers. Lol
I love your videos.
Just one of those days !!!!
Greetings from Germany :)
How's Boots sweet potatoes growing?
LOL! They are lonely! They keep coming back to you!
If they are getting out this much I would say that you need to feed them more.
Those are some social pigs...
The pigs just want to be back up there....that is where home is.
Hello
Good, good, really good, good.
HAHAHAHAHA this has happened to me all week, darn things are so smart lol 😆
Lock them in the barn and keep them there obviously the electric fences not working for them.
Oh NO! Those nasty pigs have gotten themselves in a pickle! How long do you have to go before the last day? At least they come back to the house. October/November
Dang...they are real boogers. I'm hoping and praying our girls won't get too crazy when we move them out of their stalls.
those pigs are social dudes...they want to be with their people...much more interesting stuff to see and do....I've made this comment before but I genuinely do not understand why you aren't moving them to an area with more vegetation and stuff for their to root and forage.
What about moving the flock from the pigport and putting them in there 🤔
Was just about to go to sleep... oh well
A predator is scaring them and they want to be closer to the house
Do you have a bear who comes out of the woods at night?
Oh my goodness. Pigs are so smart.
Also pigs are very smart...smarter than any dog.
Predator chasing them? Trail cam
How many things can go wrong in one day? Keep smiling. Tomorrow is another day.
What's the name of the netting you use for fencing?
Premier 1
Just wondering Justin if they are the guilty ones. Maybe a predator is scaring them free??? Just thinkin'!
So..... when are ya eating those pigs 🤣
Harvest time maybe ya think or train them to hunt mushrooms.
You should find toys for the pigs
Justin Rhodes, hardest working RUclipsr by far!!!
They want to be with the family lol.. frustrating for you cute to me.
Angry beasts! 🤣
What kind of pigs are those?
