- Baby Birds Found in My Yard
Looks like we have a few bird nests in my yard. One is a Cradinal nest, and the other is a pigeon nest. I decided to grab the camera and record them every other day or so to see the progress of their growth.
Hope you enjoy this video despite it being different from what I normall post on here.
I do plan on updating all of you on my many fruit trees grown from seed series over the next several weeks!

Hey Rob how are the kiwi plants doing this year?
you should make your garden channel back
Hey rob, it's been awhile would it be possible to give us a 30 second update on the apple trees you grew? Thanks!
I hope the pigeons are doing fantastic. By the way how are your fruit doing. I really loved your avocado series. I'm a little sad that your avocadoes from 2016 died, but I hope taht those from 01.13.2020 are doing splendid! I know there was a huge frost in late December 2022. I also have avocado trees. I watched some of your videos and you had problems with fungus gnats, mainly from overwatering. And I didn't think too much of it, but then my avocados started struggling. Especially after November of 2022 they started causing some problesms (I know it's because I watered them from the top and the soil isn't well-draining). And one of my first successfully germinated avocados with thin and weak stem gradually lost all of its leaves and died from top to bottom. And another one also died, but because I forgot about it for a month and almost dried and a few months later dying. Some of the survvers are finally starting to come back. I really didn't want my favourite to struggle, but t least it survived and I'll cut the dried parts of the leaves. So next time I'll be careful.
Awww
Nice backyard 👌
I enjoyed watching your baby bird nests. Thanks for sharing.
AWESOME VIDEO Rob!! The "pigeon" is actually a Mourning Dove. ;-)

Kiwi update?
I planted dandelion in a pot to attract bees for my tomato plant. Will it spread to my other pots as they seed heads can get blown by the wind?
The baby pigeons almost look like little ducks.
Like your updates on your seedlings 🌱 what zone you live in

My granddaughter & I grew an apple tree from seed and its getting so tall & thin (about 6 feet) should I prune the top off & where? Thanks Rob
They are not pigeons they are morning doves. Pigeons are much bigger. Enjoyed your video.
mourning doves are pigeons. there is no difference between a dove and a pigeon. sure, rock pigeons are bigger but there are pigeons that are called doves that are bigger as well if that makes sense.
The "pigeons" are Mourning Doves. They are in the pigeon family but the common variety pigeons we are all familiar with are known as Rock Doves.
i call them rock pigeons so as to not add any confusion
plus mourning doves are pigeons
Hello rob I have a question for the peach tree that you planted from seed which is 6 years old I think? Instead of keeping it short like yours could I prune it to a single branch and let it grow tall then prune into a canopy shape or no?
You could try that for sure!
That’s a dove
