Please think about the ethics of deliberately breeding animals for dwarfism to look cute. Just as with people, this brings a host of inherent and unavoidable health problems. Cattle belong to be in herds that can defend themselves - not in isolation as a little girl’s living doll, relegated to solitary life in a paddock a few years on.

It sounded like they planned on making a business of them, by breeding which you can always sell and most people make a business to eventually sell. I think they’ll be alright, but you are right. So many animal owners don’t ever research, make an impulse buy and then the animal is the one to get totally screwed.
Is this a trend? Dog breeds come in and fall out of favor ..German shepherds, dalmatians, purse size dogs... These are living creatures...not disposable toys

2 of my mini horses are mares (the other is a gelding), and they had normal foalings. My smallest foal was a colt who weighed 18 pounds at birth, and stood 17 inches. He's a 4 year old gelding now, and the family who bought him love him very much. I broke him to drive for them. (Jan Griffiths).
Oh I am in love with the panlander. I’ve seen regular size cows with that type of marking before but they weren’t fluffy like the minis. I want one. Lol. We have regular cows and a couple donkeys but we don’t have the setup or money for a mini. Too adorable though.
Why do they both have shaved spots over left front leg? Also, how old were they both when you took them home? The reason I ask is because of the umbilical that’s dried up but not fallen off of the little one yet.❤❤❤
I was looking for a specific answer to the shaved area too, but didn't find one. I'm guessing it's for branding, especially since I saw a short with these adorable babies and saw a "P" in the shaved patch on Pumpkin.
