I think it’s worse to note that the south and north skylight, switch qualities in northern hemisphere. Basically you get direct sun all day if you install it on the southside.
Is there such thing as a 'Y' shaped skylight with mirrors inside to provide natural light morning and afternoon? Eg. Front of House is oriented close to perfectly North. Roof shape is thesame shape as the example in video. Kitchen is in west quarter of house which doesn't get any natural light in the morning and the two small windows on the west wall are opaque and dont let enough light through in the afternoon. Im picturing something that straddles the very top of the roof for the input

Is South side good for southern hemisphere? i thought we wont get much light unless summer sun in the southern Hemisphere
How would a person clean the sky light? That's the only draw back, otherwise they are a great addition to a home.
