Hi Megan… This weekend, I’m enjoying going through some of your videos and I’m getting some really good ideas for storage, how to start an art journal practice, and various other arty tips. Thank you so much for your caring ways for all of us out here in mixed media land. Love from Jane in The Ottawa Valley, Canada ❤️🍁❤️
I started out storing my stencils in a big 3 ring binder with different plastic sleeves, but it was tedious to put them all back in the different slots. Now I keep them in the ziplock plastic folders in various sizes like you do that I get from my local art store and they have a pocket on the outside for the masks that cooridate with the stencils inside. Much easier now to get and put away.
Loved seeing how you organize your stamps & stencils, & seeing some of the same ones I have. Got some good ideas from you as always. I have lots of stamps & they keep growing, I have mine organized like yours in baskets by designer & company. Hope I don't run out of room for the stamps!!
Omg you just gave me a way to store stencils👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I have been struggling with it for several months. Had them in a 3 ring binder but didn’t like it because I hated having to go through all the pages each time (plus it was outgrowing the binder ❗️
I don't have a lot of stamps and stencils yet, so right now it's easy to figure out storage. I was just moving around my stencils yesterday tho, cause I'd like to flip through them like the stamps (sitting up).....still figuring that out. I also have a few larger stencils that I don't have good ideas how to store yet.
Great ideas. HOw do you keep your stencils from getting tangled with each other in those envelopes? I find I'm constantly having stencils hook onto each other and i'm afraid I'll ruin them. Thanks!
I love your stencils so I have them in a portfolio folder by collection. I would consider it a sacrilege to shove them in a plastic pouch 😂!!! I really like your stamps collection. Kinda jealous of the perella ones.
The European paper sizes are so easy. A0 is the largest, cut it in half and you have 2 pieces of A1. Cut the A1 in half and you have 2x A2. Cut the A2 in half will give 2x A3. A4 is close to the US letter.
I need to get a bigger bin that will hold my stamps, but I'm doing mine like yours and it's so handy. I don't have nearly the stencils that you do but I am using those clear envelopes. As I have the most of yours, I wrote your name at the top and then listed each set beneath so I could keep track of what I have. I accidentally bought two sets of something, but I don't mind cuz they'll get used. Anyway, as I add companies, I'll do the same with each of their sets. I really enjoy these videos and hope you do more. BTW do you have a bin for storing your stencil envelopes? I have metal baskets hanging all over my large wall and they hold my stencils, bottles of acrylics, sprays, etc. All quite handy!🥰

Thanks for sharing! Always need organizational tips. ✨

Thank you! Much better then the mess and non practical way I have now.

Love this. Currently reorganizing my craft space.

Your stamp pockets appear to be fairly thick, unlike most I see in office supply. Are these Ranger's or are they available elsewhere?

Love this ... some really good ideas! ... ps I LOVE your beaded cuff/bracelet ... do you mind sharing where you got it from!
Amazon. 😊
Do you remove your dies from the sleeve they com in ,before placing them on magnetic sheets in the binder.
do you wash your stencils every time you use them? yours are so clean - and the bags are so clean, mine would be a hot acrylic paint mess!
No almost never. I do if I’m using Watercolors or Ink sprays because those colors will transfer if I use again.
Thanks ❤
Can you use a three ring binder to store these items?
There are some out there. I’d look for the Tim Holtz ones.
How do you organize papers? Thank you!
See previous video😉
@@meganquinlanstudio105 thank you, I did.
