What I loved about COD over Medal of Honor was that in COD campaigns you would fight as a squad and unit and they would help out. In medal of honor you would take on most of germany by yourself and your friendly AI, if there were any, were worthless. COD made you feel like you were in the action. I remember clearing out a few missions without killing anyone

honestly I think the Russian campaign is a lot more emotional then American/British. don't get me wrong I love everything about this game, But they had beautiful and horrifying music that described moments of the war
I'm happy I'm not the only one that found this mission particularly difficult. I was only a kid, perhaps 8-10y/o, but I found this mission significantly more difficult than the other missions. I love how the missions get harder and harder the closer to Germany we get and later in the war we get. First we start in Russia, then fight the Germans in Africa, and then finally in other parts of Europe and Germany.

Also Pro Tip: In the mission where you have to cross the bridge (near the end of the game) , turn around and head towards the Sherman Tank and pick up the Machine Gun. (I suggest you write this down somewhere)
Did anyone else have this problem? When I got the tanks down the street to that little arch way after clearing the first building, the group they wouldn't move through a lot of the time. Was that just me doing something wrong?
Thanks for showing me where medkits had been. Could not do the first part of the level at all until the more medkits. Also learned to try and hold the tank back and they won't shoot it as much. I finally just beat this whole level just now and I'm elated and so happy and soooo exhausted. Was so hard not gonna lie. Can't wait to show it off. Not looking forward to the end mission I guess is even harder? Right now I just need a week break before I play another session xD

I came here to figure out what you’re supposed to do to make the tanks move after taking out the first group of anti-tank launchers. I’ve realized that the tanks are supposed to proceed by themselves and my game just keeps soft-locking. I think I’m done with this playthrough..

No one else was ever bothered by the guy saying the old buildings could resist shelling? I think a few rounds of a Sherman’s 75 would be able to do some damage. Even if it couldn’t the sheer blast and shockwave of a round hitting the building would wound and kill the men inside.

It’s not entirely unbelievable, I heard stories from my squad leaders that the mud huts in Iraq and Afghanistan where so solid they could withstand 40 Mike Mikes, and my squad leader who was in early OIF said they needed Abrams to destroy a building they were taking heavy fire from, and that even then, it took several 120’s to destroy. Cooking in the 120° sun definitely helped harden the mud huts But I find it hard to believe regular civilian structures could withstand a barrage of 75mm HE. And even if it’s true, I’m still right about the shockwave. The building might still be standing, but the guys inside would be dead from the shelling’s shockwave and blast area. Like an M67 frag grenade, it has a kill radius of 5 meters, meaning behind cover or not, if you’re within that 5 meters (15ft) you’re dead from the blast alone, with 50 meters being the injury radius and throwing fragments up to 200+ meters (600+ feet) away. Hollywood doesn’t do them justice, I’ll never forget the day at the grenade range in basic. 6 and a half ounces of Comp B is loud as shit, like way louder than movies portray and nowhere near as visibly explosive. Frags throw fragmentations, there is no visible flaming Michael Bay level of explosion, so Hollywood adds that to look more cinematic. Like seriously, I was kinda disappointed when I first got to see it thru the blast window, you literally only see one big cloud of dust and then the small clouds of smoke/dust from the fragment impacts 100+ feet away.

Yeah no fk this level too. Not 1 checkpoint in all the level. He almost died too after 15min. If you don’t search for every health pack possible you will not do this, without even the possibility to run and still to protect the tanks. I don’t know how i did this
