Here's classical guitarist, Eric Wang, performing "El Niño" by Antonio Lauro (1917-1986). Eric recorded this piece on a 1978 Miguel Rodriguez classical guitar made with redwood top and Honduran rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

Lovely playing. This reminds me how traditional guitars have gained dynamic range since the Smallman revolution of the 1980s. This sounds like a guitar of its times.

Nice playing and pace, but why veer away from the original score? This is one of Lauro's best work, written so beautifully!!
Fully support veering away. I see it as enjoying the beauty of the piece in your way as a performer. Most walk the stone path through a garden, some add their own flowers, others never go to the garden.
