An absolutely amazing Trip Report! I love flying during snowy conditions, it’s so beautiful to see the snow on the aircraft and the surrounding areas. The coldest I’ve experienced was, when I landed in Kiev a few years ago and it was -21c!! ✈️

It's the only was to guarantee that all ice deposits are melted. Then, the water-glycol solution keeps the surface protected for a defined time called holdover time, which basically depends on the type of fluid and the weather conditions.
Last year before the lock down, my family and I went from tenerife to Kraków, not the main airport, another one, about 2 hours in car to get to Kraków.. Expensive, pay extra for each suitcase even to sit together, the food was terrible. Going and Coming back to tenerife the flight was excellent.. On tfe south we landed after to attempt, but everything was very smooth anyway.. Problaby, excelent pilots!! Would I fly again with them? Yes but at leat the food need to upgrade the quality. My opinion 😊
Haha true! However, during this winter I've recorded already a couple of deicings. They will come very soon to the channel :) You mean when we arrived at the plane? Or in the flight in general? When we arrived the heating was already working; during the cruise was the same as always. At a jet standard cruising altitude, the standard temperature is -57ºC :)

WOW!! Why would the pilots suddenly decide to increase the aircraft' thrust?? You were on cruise and yes.... It is sooo weird. Normally, all this is controlled by the autopilot function on many airplanes.
The legal requirement is to disembark the airplane in 90 seconds or less using just the half of the exits of the plane. If they operated it is probably because they had sold a lot of tickets for this flight but the passengers decided no to fly.
Normal for the thrust, it gets adjusted by AT and FADEC throughout the flight, typical cruise thrust depending on the wind and other factors 75-99% N1. IAE are just very loud type, especially when you seated right next to them
I know how a jet plane works, and it's far from normal that at the start of descent the engines go to 85-95% N1. Probably the pilots wanted to perform a high-speed descent... but again, usually, the increase in speed is not done by increasing the thrust, but by increasing the pitch.
No that was actually True I'm from Poland and there was one coldest day in Warsaw - 24°C and in Olsztyn city which is North from Warsaw there was almost - 28°C

I apologise, it must have been record breaking. -24 degree temperatures are what you would experience in polar regions. And not in countries like poland.
They are not the every day temperatures, but from time to time, they are common in Poland and all the countries in the area... At least 2-3 times per winter, temperatures drop to these values.

Normal for the thrust, it gets adjusted by AT and FADEC throughout the flight, typical cruise thrust depending on the wind and other factors 75-99% N1. IAE are just very loud type, especially when you seated right next to them
I know how a jet plane works, and it's far from normal that at the start of descent the engines go to 85-95% N1. Probably the pilots wanted to perform a high-speed descent... but again, usually, the increase in speed is not done by increasing the thrust, but by increasing the pitch.
Maybe it was just a error or a wrong button pressed? Some pilots are rather rusty

@@OnBoardHD most likely had to increase speed due sequencing and decreasing pitch was not suitable action here...a guess
@@christianwold By decreasing the pitch down without increasing thrust you'll be reducing speed.

No that was actually True I'm from Poland and there was one coldest day in Warsaw - 24°C and in Olsztyn city which is North from Warsaw there was almost - 28°C

I apologise, it must have been record breaking. -24 degree temperatures are what you would experience in polar regions. And not in countries like poland.
They are not the every day temperatures, but from time to time, they are common in Poland and all the countries in the area...
At least 2-3 times per winter, temperatures drop to these values.
@@EinkOLED not record breaking, there have been far colder temperatures recorded there over the years, Google weather in poland, it has hot summers and really cold winters
