    I remember that issue of the Mirror, at the time it was just creepy really. There was no more motivation to Piers Morgan's stalking of Hislop's past than a group of teenagers trying to 'dox' and bully other message board users they interacted with. Those were my thoughts as a younger person at the time. I don't think social media was quite as pervasive as it is now, but the idea that Morgan is simply a vitrified 13 year old brain within a bloated elder body has been my assessment of him, and the level he functions at, for at least as long as that issue. Not sure what everyone else sees to in order to keep him well heeled in life.
    His recent attempts at inserting himself into the 'tabloid lore' of H and M Windsor's love life was pretty much one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen journalist or a person do also.
    Mechanically speaking, it's just a legacy of the elder Maxwell, isn't it? Gather (or rather generate) as much 'dirt' on your enemy as possible and see them 'driven before you'. Is this not how Epstein perpetuated his ring and functioned within certain circles?

      @veryanonymous3630 3 года назад +11

      No first rule is to let the interviewee speak which he did. Even if you know nothing about your guest you can still make a good interview if you just let them have their say and explore the topics they raise in interesting ways.

    • @vickygarnett7623
      @vickygarnett7623 3 года назад

      Long pauses could have been down to delay on the connection. Plus the interviewer was showing respect and trying not to talk over his guest, which many more popular and considerably better paid (I am assuming) interviewers often fail to do, making it more about them.
