I bought 3 of the Broadway Limited locomotives and out of the box one worked perfect and other 2 just sits, make noise, whistles, horn and lights but no movement
I wonder if the rear trucks are picking up power. It looks like it is dieing when the front trucks hit the plastic frog. I have never seen inside one of these, but my first thought is that rear truck isn't picking up. I would check the wheel guage too. I have had that cause problems through switches too.

Thanks for the advise. I did check the wheels with NMRA gauge and they are in gauge. I going to look into the rear wheel pick up.
Yes.I agree about the power pickup in the rear truck.
It seems the front truck is jumping the frogs.Either a wheel gauge or a problem with the frog.
Everything should work smooth right out of the box, for the $$$$ you pay. Bob

Maybe you might need a stay-a-live decoder or add a Capacitor to your decoder.
