The yellow dress of jenny was very similar to belle in beauty and the beast. This seems intentional. Because if you checkout other movies of S S Rajamouli, you will notice that he loves putting reference of mythology and movies culture. In baahubali he referenced lion king. In the climax of this movie itself he turned the characters Ram and Bheem into the mythological heroes Ram from Ramayanaand Bheem from Mahabharata.
In the scene where jenny is in yellow, she sees the beast side of Bheem.

You know, many people view all movies through the lens of Hollywood - even foreign movies, which is sad, because you miss out on so much that other cultures can teach and show. Yes, maybe it is over the top, but the way it was done was cinematic excellence and it enhanced the story so much! This movie was utterly fantastic and we are so glad we got to watch it!

@@OfficialMediaKnights it was my pleasure. Since you are kind and considerate enough to reply, let me give you a suggestion that u SHOULD consider for ur next reactions. RRR is a tollywood film from Telugu language. What I'm suggesting are Bollywood films in Hindi language. They are:
      1. Taare Zameen pe (2006)
      2. 3 idiots (2009)
      3. Dangal(2016).
These movies are unanimously praised by critics and fans alike and they are absolute gems.
Try reacting to one of these and you will notice the immense support and how positively people will react to ur video. Trust me you WILL NOT REGRET. And to check if I'm speaking the truth, consider making a poll with these three movies as 3 options and a 4th option named "all of these" and then you can see for yourself if I'm right. Keep it up buddy. My best wishes🙂🙂😇😇

Another one symbolism which most of the people miss is the first scene where Ram and Bhim meet each other to save the boy from the flamin river water, u can see the Ram carrying the flag of independence struggle with him from beginning (which shows his freedom struggle he is doing for long time) but Bhim comes only to save the child (as he comes only to save malli girl), when in down, Raju passes the freedom struggle flag to Bhim and also saves the child...the whole movie story was beautifully shown in this small scene sequence

At the end of the interval fight, several of the same elements from the bridge scene repeat, now very differently. At the bridge, both Ram and Bheem are hanging evenly and work together to save a child in jeopardy beneath them. At the end of the interval fight, Bheem hangs from the holy thread he had given to Ram, who prevents Bheem from saving Malli beneath them. At the bridge, the flag is introduced as a political element, at the interval scene, the governor wears what looks like a robe of British royalty. Instead of working together, they are now in opposition. Several of the same elements, but now out of balance...

In the second half of the movie, during last fight Bheem lifts motorcycle. In that scene we know Bheem is so strong enough to stop a tiger,so it doesn't matter lifting a motorcycle which weighs 55-57 kgs. That's a 1940's bike which is pretty less weight.

One of the things that works well in the movie is the director's capability to draw the audience in from the get-go of the movie. You get emotionally connected to Malli straight away. Nutshells off RRR MOVIE
RRR(Rise -Roar -Revolt) Telugu film Industry,India.(Tollywood)
    1) Time period of 1920 yr.. True, Real Freedom fighters, seeta rama raju from andhra pradesh state and Komuram bheem from telangana statess, in history both of them Raju and bheem were from same timeline but never met each other in reality, in original history they both went missing for 4 years during this 1920 time period, no one knows where they went and what they did, but after 4 years they both returned to their villages and fought their own fights and both sacrificed their lives for our country, Director rajamouli hv woven a fictional story that what happens if they met each other, and exchange their ideas and ideologies in the time period they went missing... That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule,
    2) whole story concept revealed instantly with an a logic instant ideas applying to the scenes,
On Train blast incident, Ramraju catches a flag (a strong will for freedom mission resembles a Flag) n Komuram Bheem save a child (resembles as saviour to get back a girl , mission of Bheem ) exchanged by them, their missions..n finally they complete their Goal Togeather..
    2) In RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
    ..
Rrr released in more than 10languages across the world..
    Telugu is original version
TELUGU FILM INDUSTRY,(Tollywood), Hyderabad City (Bhagyanagari),2 Telugu States ,India. (Telangana n Andhra Pradesh states)
    3) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence....
That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing....
    4) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
5)near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏
    continued 2 cmnt nxt
    continued 2
    Nutshells of RRR movie
    6) In a scene where they show the security measures of the palace they had 2 doors at entrance, only after closing the 1st door they will open 2nd door, if we observe both the doors clearly and also if we listen to the creek sounds of both doors, we would know the outer door is a wooden one, and the inner door is a metal one, so to rescue malli they can break the outer door but they can't break the inner door, that's the reason y the character jhangu climbs a tree and listens for the 2nd door to open to rescue malli in interval scene... Every small detail in this movie is well planned and well executed...
    7) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the mostmost convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect....
    8) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything....
    9) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there are many indian purana's references to the movie for sure but its not only sree ram's avatar, it is also about the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead bybritishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear...
    10) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shoot
    a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
    c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
    d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....
    n many more...

This is THE biggest blockbuster that India has ever made, period. I'll give you a list that you should watch in terms of Indian films (not just Bollywood and Tollywood) that are among the best you'll ever see, from musicals to thrillers to action flicks to romcoms to horror to comedy. This is not Bollywood, which is SPECIFICALLY the Hindi film industry. This was originally shot in Telugu, which as someone correctly stated is a South Indian language. There are DOZENS of main spoken languages in India, and all of them have their own thriving film cultures.
For some historical background: India and Pakistan were never separate until independence in 1947. India and Pakistan declared independence within hours of each other - India's Independence Day is August 15th, the day after Pakistan's. The 1940s were terrible for the Indian subcontinent as a whole. Indian troops were fighting and dying en masse on British front lines in World War II. The Bengal Famine in 1943 (which has been DOCUMENTED as being caused by Churchill's wartime policies regarding stockpiling food supplies for reserve troops) killed MILLIONS of people. And then the night that India and Pakistan became two separate countries, the resulting Partition created a mass migration of both Hindus and Muslims that resulted in the deaths of easily a million people and displaced tens of millions. Partition and the Bengal Famine together were India's Holocaust in many ways, drawn out over years, and the beginning of decades of religious and sectarian violence. The boundaries were created by a clueless British bureaucrat who LITERALLY drew them up overnight. They ripped so many families and communities apart that the literal psychic violence of that night still reverberates through hundreds of millions of descendants generations later.
As for the music: Indian movies with music in them are almost NEVER musicals. You'll notice that among all the movies I added to this list, NONE of them have the word "musical" in their genre. That is a misnomer, because the Western concept of a musical doesn't exist in India. The music is integral to the movie itself as a character in its own right. In RRR, for example, the continuous lyrics you hear are a modern version of the Greek chorus, the inclusion of which is a lost art in Hollywood today. The song and dance numbers always drive at least one of three things forward: the plot, the emotion of a character, or the relationship between two characters. Item songs, which are basically risque party song music videos in the middle of a movie, are the biggest and most well-known exception, and have a VERY long history in Indian cinema dating back to the earliest post-independence films. But even those have become less and less prevalent in the last decade or so, with the meteoric rise of independent cinema all over the Indian subcontinent.
Apologies for the INSANELY long comment here, but I'm barely scratching the surface. I tried to get films from all over India, covering all different genres and themes, throughout all of both Indian film history as well as real history. Many of the movies in this list, for better or worse, are post-2000. There are some here and there, but by and large, Indian cinema was dominated by Bollywood pre-internet and so I chose the best selection I could think of that would cover ALL of India, not just Hindi movies. However, unless otherwise indicated, most of these movies are still in Hindi. I would not use the term "Bollywood" to describe any of these movies though, nor would I use any version of "_ollywood" either, since it is an extremely reductive and incomplete moniker for a film industry that covers SO MANY different genres, languages, and styles of moviemaking. And, as a warning, most Indian movies are quite a bit longer than the runtimes expected from modern Hollywood films, so adjust your pacing, editing, and character development expectations accordingly. Without further ado, here is a list of Important Movies you should watch to learn about Indian history, Indian film, and Indian culture as a whole, in no particular order (and take your time LOL):
Sardar Udham - based on the true story of the assassination of Michael O'Dwyer and the 1919 Jallianwalla Bagh Massacre
The Attacks of 26/11 - Based on the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. Warning: this is a VERY difficult movie to watch.
Lion - biopic about an Indian man who was accidentally separated from his parents as a child and adopted by Australian parents
Rang De Basanti - a movie within a movie about history repeating itself and the modern political-military complex in India
Veer-Zaara - romantic drama centered around religious tensions between Pakistan and India going back to Partition
7 Khoon Maaf - (lit. Seven Murders Forgiven) black comedy about a black widow who keeps looking for love
Mayabazar - 1957 Telugu epic Hindu mythology film with LOADS of VFX/SFX. Widely considered one of the greatest Indian films of all time.
Pather Panchali - 1955 Bengali drama directed by Satyajit Ray. Critically acclaimed and also considered one of the greatest films ever made, period.
Bajirao Mastani - historical fiction epic based on the two title characters set during the Maratha Empire
3 Idiots - buddy comedy set in the rat race of the modern Indian educational system
Taare Zameen Par - (not properly) teaching kids with learning disabilities in present-day schools
My Name is Khan - epic drama tackling autism, post-9/11 Islamophobia in the US and intersectional struggles
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect - Tamil/English film based on a true story about the infancy of India's space agency
Airlift - based on the true story of hundreds of thousands of Indians trapped in Kuwait during the First Gulf War
Neerja - based on the true story of the 1986 hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73
Black Friday - based on the true story of the 1993 Bombay bombings
Super Deluxe - Tamil ensemble hyperlink film connecting four different stories from different parts of society
Kantara - Kannada mythological folk action thriller set in rural Karnataka
Haider - Hamlet adaptation set in mid-90s Kashmir when India and Pakistan were fully at war
Roja - Tamil romantic thriller also set during the Indo-Pak war in Jammu and Kashmir
Tumbbad - Marathi folk horror thriller about greed, set in period Maharashtra
The Lunchbox - I can't even begin to describe this one. Just watch it.
Udta Punjab - (lit. Flying Punjab) crime drama based on the very real drug abuse epidemic in the state of Punjab
Natsamrat - (lit. King of Theatre) based on a VERY famous Marathi play of the same name
Ventilator - Marathi comedy drama ensemble with over a HUNDRED well-known actors
Delhi Belly - black comedy about drug smuggling. Like The Hangover, but better.
Gangs of Wasseypur - two-part epic crime/noir/action/gangster/thriller about multiple generations of a crime family.
Andhadhun - (lit. Blind Tune) crime thriller about a blind pianist who "witnesses" a murder
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara - ensemble buddy road trip film driving through Spain.
Gully Boy - rise of the underground hip-hop and rap scene in modern India and based on the real-life artists Naezy and Divine.
Dhrishyam - two-volume thriller starring none other than Ajay Devgn (Ram's dad in RRR)
Article 15 - police drama regarding the titular piece of the Indian Constitution banning caste-based/religious discrimination
Sairat - Marathi romantic tragedy about caste differences between star-crossed lovers. Rinku Rajguru's first film EVER. And she CRUSHED it.
Kahaani - action/spy thriller about a pregnant woman searching for her husband who is missing in the wake of a terrorist attack
Irudhi Suttru - Tamil movie about women's boxing, sexual harassment, and the dark and dirty politics of sports
Guru - historical fiction based loosely on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani who created Reliance Industries, the biggest company in India today
If you want to choose a particular avenue that you'd like to explore first, I'd start setting up polls so that you can experience all of the craziness that is the Indian movie industry!

Watch 3 idiots and dangal and KANTARA and soo many more! You will be surprised to know that every year much better movies than RRR come out but they don’t have enough exposure and they don’t reach out to the western audience. RRR has changed this entire scene.
