There’s a reason why when ever I look up info on him all I get is Founding Father stuff. (He actually did stuff with Persona 4 anime and maybe the games? Literally all I find is for the Kite & Farmer’s Almanac guy)
Man I don't think so. The song is absolutely great, but the visuals are too low energy and moody for Persona 5. It feels more like something more apropriated for Persona 3 or Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.
To be honest I'm personally fine with P5A. Like don't get me wrong, it a total cash grab but it does have it fun/funny moment. Obviously, the game is better but if you have nothing to do you might as well just watch this just for the hell of it.

Like the Nakanohara scene was done better in the anime. Also Joker mistaking one of his classmates for a Shadow at the school festival.
Personally I see this not as an anime but as some of the game animated wich I really like cuz seeing a game I really like getting animated is cool and I think playing the game and then watching the anime is waaaay better

I know people say this anime sucks and it’s bad compared to the game but this anime introduced me to the Persona franchise. This anime will always forever have a special place in my heart because of that ❤️
I remember watching Persona 5 the animation during the pandemic. I was being beaten by my father repeatedly everyday if not physically, emotionally and spiritually. Getting through all of that was greatly influenced by the show in it's entirety. Fast forward my life is good and I have love of the character development I had to go through in the same sense as ren. So nostalgic shoutout 2023. Persona 5 royal true ending is what sealed the deal BTW.

L.N dR I will be straight, the show isn’t good, it’s horrible. I think the first episode is awesome and they actually worked hard on it, but they just lost interest with the following episodes. If you want to watch it you can find it online, it’s sad that it isn’t good tho :/
the show got rushed I expected a lot from it actually many of us expected it to be good and sadly it didn't go the way we all thought it was gonna be. Persona 4 the animation handled the story well and it didn't seem to be too rushed and same with Persona 3 movies, even though it's a movie it's obvious the creators put a lot of work and handled the plot with care. Persona 5 the animation was just a total disaster
As someone who never played Persona, this show was my first impression of the franchise and it's awesome. I never would've played the games but when I found out there's an anime about it I just had to watch it to find out what's it all about and it didn't disappoint me.

Maybe I just like Persona 5 that much but I enjoyed the anime. It was just like the anime cutscenes in the game. The only character missing was Sumire probably because Royal wasn't out yet. They did pretty good with what they had. It's not easy putting a 130+ hour game into an anime and OVA.

Maybe I'm wrong but I liked the animation I watched it after playing the game so it was a nice catch up for me to reminiscent on moments from the game, as a stand alone experience maybe it's not good but after the game it was enjoyable for me
I didn't expect the anime to be this fast paced lol, 26 episodes could literally be well over 50 if they took it slow. Oh well, the dub is still good, seeing Makoto in anime is literally the only reason I brought myself to watch this
