I've been collecting comics for 37 years now and I've hit all of my goals. I got the keys I wanted, got 9,877 comics in my hobby room. Collecting everything. 10 years ago I began buying collected editions. Then I started buying old vintage classic books. My oldest one is from the 1700s. Just last year when I turned 47 thanks to my children and my work as a marketing executive, for the first time I dove into manga and Japanese comics and I am enjoying it.
That’s awesome. I too am into vintage books and have a whole library. It’s fun to diversify your collections and interests, makes one a more interesting person!
@@lunchmoneycomics My oldest book is a prayer breviary from 1788 that I found for sale it at a church monastery in The Netherlands. They sold it to me at a really good bargain price. I enjoy your content so much because just so many people are treasure hunters like you and that includes me.
Seeing you two together in a video makes me so darn happy. Someday our powers will combine and it will ALMOST be too much for the universe to contain. Great video, Mr. Rogers
Got to say...that was fun and entertaining. It's not always how much you buy or spend but how much fun and memorable it was. My best times were comic book hunting with my son.
I saw an uncanny X-men, So this is you're friendly reminder that at least I want to see your Chris Claremont Run. also don't forget to post part 2 of this first. this is some good stuff :)
This was such a creative video! Love me some GL! Rebirth got me started on GL and I've loved it ever since. Geoff Johns way of story telling is amazing in that series.
I didn't think your videos could get any better but they have. With this video, you are showing that you are not doing the everyday, same old haul video that everyone else is. I love when people are able to put into words and convey those words about someone. You were able to do that about Ricky. Great guy who is pushes the boundaries and makes us all better at what we do.
Omg I love the ongoing skit throughout the video it was so good and funny😂! Great pickups this video, those Green Lantern books are super sharp and the wall behind you was getting a little Marvel heavy so hoping to see the DC row bulk up! Going hunting for comics with a friend looks super fun and I hope to do the same thing one day but don’t have any friends that collect comics😭.
I'm enjoying manga right now. I hated it many years ago but I finally read one and I am delightfully enjoying the stories so much. It's so new to me and it is a breath of fresh air. I got in thanks to my children and now I realize manga is the future. Did you know that there are 7.8 Billion people in the world and 4.7 billion are Asians. That is why big companies want a piece of the pie there, to capture that Asian audience. McDonalds and Apple's biggest consumers arent in the USA, they are in Asia. That's why in comic cons, we see more and more manga being sold and featured than Marvel or DC Marvel recently launched the new Ultimate Line and it looks like manga. There are only 300 million people in the USA, in European countries, it's lesser. India has 1.4 Billion people, China has 1.3 Billion people. The combined population of Indonesia and The Philippines trumps the population here in the States. I'm betting 40, no maybe 55% of your subscribers here on RUclips isnt even from the USA, Mike. I'm betting they are from Asia. The most subscribed YT channel isnt an American channel, it's an Indian channel. I'm telling you, I think manga is the future. Marvel and DC will have no choice but to adapt in the future generations to come.
Mike, thanks for letting the fans meet Ricky. He sounds cool, will check him out!! Found a new comics you tuber, Casually Comics. She has some unique takes on comics...
Epic Illustrated! So many fantastic stories and such gorgeous art, now all but forgotten except for we few who still carry the flame ("Face front, True Believers!" as Stan might have said). I see you more as Fred MacMurray's character Steven Douglas in "My Three Sons", with Ricky as a young version of Uncle Charley.
I found Ricky's channel through his video with you like two days ago and immediately subscribed! Hilarious guy, incredibly knowledgeable, and adds that level of sarcasm and adult humor that just works for a fresh take. Love the Mr. Roger's joke on this video! Good stuff!
Fun video! I think the purchases were worth it, though my fav is the first Kilowog. Loved the character in the GL cartoon. Thanks for channeling Mr. Rogers and the great video!
Great video Mike! You're starting to become quite good at adding production value and quality to your videos - that train at the end was great! Nice Green Lantern pickups, when opportunities come up, it's often much better to jump at them instead of having the pangs of regret after (of which I've had too many).
I had no idea that Little Red Caboose was something that I needed in my life until tonight. That was a steal for that Green Lantern book. Yes, my wife would have disowned me, but I'd have picked it up as well. Looks like a fun time.
I love that you have the same song play in all of your videos. It’s become a comforting constant throughout each video. Like the theme song from Friends or The Office.
First John Stewart has been on my most wanted list for years but usually too high or bad condition. Maybe I need to lower my wanted grades. Great find on those books. Entertaining video made me laugh.
That was a really nice bundle while I have the kilowag book, I too have been looking for that John Stewart, and it is a wonderful price. The only concern is how much that stain will drop the grade I have seen Nino books go down to 40 because of the stain. I hope that does not happen to you.
Great vid, and, will check out All Sorts of Words who hails from my state of Maine! In the future if you shout out to other comic folks to join in on a comic crawl, count me in.
I like you guys together. You're like the Laurel and Hardy of comics. Not to mention the excellent video setups, interviews and most of all comic books!
This was a very entertaining show and I think if you could get Ricky to dress up as X the Owl can you do a reprise on Mr. Rogers you guys could do a bit on that.
That KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK 7.0 at 100 is a NICE grab for anyone into the band. It's extremely condition sensitive and fans pay LARGE for a nice copy. Another awesome vid Mike!! Never gets old !! And that "almost the Cure" in the background is AWESOME!!!
Nice pick ups Mike. Great video, very funny. Great hunting video with Ricky. Hopefully I can make it to Nick's in April, I haven't been there in almost 2 years. Need to make my way back. 👊🏼
I almost clarified that it wasn’t literally a 2nd print but more “there are two different printings of this book cover” just for the inevitable person or two that chimed in
Never thought a little red caboose would make my day, but here we are 28 minutes later with my day made. Thanks Neighbor!
Requesting for the little red caboose bit to become a regular bit 🤣
Good job on the Mr.Rogers skit. You're an actor, Man!

😭😭😭😭😭😿😢This was so unbelievably nice. I'm not crying...YOU'RE crying.

Me too me too

You have to keep “Little Red Caboose” now…….just saying.
Wow! That was Amazing! 😊- Great pick ups! So Good! Mr LMC's Neighborhood...
Fantastic! Love this skit. More! More!
Nice grab on the GL 87! Would totally have grabbed that at $200 too!
Great double act. One of your best yet. 😂
Nicely put together video. You remind all of us that collecting should be fun, social and sharing knowledge with others.
Really enjoyed the video man! Love when you go hunting for comics in "strange and unusual places!" Lol
Great video mike. Like seeing part 1 from your perspective after already watching rickys video a few days ago
Congratulations on the first X-Men and that first appearance of John Stewart.
Got to say...that was fun and entertaining. It's not always how much you buy or spend but how much fun and memorable it was. My best times were comic book hunting with my son.
Great video! You have a talent for this , great content and the parody of Mr Rogers was awesome.
Happy hunting!

Nice pick Mike that x men deadly genesis is awesome I have the original one, but I’ve never seen the variant cover
That train made me spit out my drink. You owe me a Pepsi!
OK the Mr. Rogers thing made me laugh out loud. And Ricky stuff is pretty awesome.
This the Rickification of comic book youtube and I'm here for it ha!
Thanks Fred for another great video! Always cool to see the comic places that you visit.
You forgot the Green Lantern other awesome power: the power to attract hot babes...
Awesome haul and video loved every minute of it bro
OMG. I was waiting for the Nightcrawler hand puppet to show up any second. Great job on the skit.
My favorite part is just hearing you guys all rap together. Fun stuff and makes me feel like I'm hanging with you all!

LOved the Pittsburgh/ Fred Rogers riff!!
Now I’ve seen everything. I love the Mr Rodgers plug.😄
Two of my favorite comicbook RUclipsrs together! Love the video!
Mike, thanks for letting the fans meet Ricky. He sounds cool, will check him out!! Found a new comics you tuber, Casually Comics. She has some unique takes on comics...
Yes she’s great, and a BIG TIME RUclipsr!
Whole video a lot of fun. Ricky hey. Rogers bit was unexpected & funny. Some acting chops there. Nicely done.
That was by far the best video I’ve seen this year!!! The Mr. Roger’s homage alone!!! 😂😂😂 I genuinely enjoyed this video. On to part 2!!!
I knew you reminded me of someone!!
Epic Illustrated! So many fantastic stories and such gorgeous art, now all but forgotten except for we few who still carry the flame ("Face front, True Believers!" as Stan might have said).

Epic Crossover! World's Collide! The YTU will never be the same again. This is like seeing Superman meet Batman for the first time!
I died 😂 when the caboose came out. I also love the subtle glimpse at your wolverine socks.
So nice buddyhunting! And Deadly Genesis with Vulcan -cover and Green Lantern covers just got my face in a smile 😊

Mike, if you're sticking with the MAD MEN riff the beard -scruff will have to go!!
No GL is better than Hal Jordan
By far Mike your funniest video, loved it. Thank you for sharing his, also Ricky was awesome (gave him a follow).
I absolutely loved that you leaned into the Mr. Rogers persona! Plus had some fun with this video! Great all around, Mike!
Mr. Roger's best friend and next door neightbour was George Romero; you never know a person completely. ;)
Haha I think I’ve heard that before!
I love that you have the same song play in all of your videos. It’s become a comforting constant throughout each video. Like the theme song from Friends or The Office.
I hope to see the cardigan and little red caboose again. You are special, Neighbor!
Gotta appreciate the Wolverine socks! Thanks for taking us along on the journey. You and Ricky make an impeccable duo 👍
You’re awesome Mike!! This was hilarious Mr. Rodgers 😂😂
That owner's personality just seems so fun to be around
Dang it, You did your missed Rogers before I did my Bob Ross
It's really weird, everytime I watch one of your videos, afterwards I have this craving to listen to some The Cure!
First John Stewart has been on my most wanted list for years but usually too high or bad condition. Maybe I need to lower my wanted grades. Great find on those books. Entertaining video made me laugh.
Awesome video thanks, brother. Some of those comics were little too overpriced, but good finds.

Great Green Lantern Comic Haul.
Guy Gardners my favourite Green Lantern and his first appearance is on my wish list

Find your channel to be different than most of the comic content I come across. It’s the attitude and expression of joy talking about comics
Got to be my favorite video to date Fred....er,ah Mike!😅 You guys looked like you had a blas and we went along for the ride!🚂
Made my day. As someone else said”more”.
Nancy’s husband.
i do bump into comic books at the flea market. bad side is some of the vender's sale the comics more than what there Relly worth.
Lmao love it!! 😂
loved the pan across the Batman Year Two's
Love watching Lunch money comic's on U Tube
Turok son of stone gold key was my all time favorite comic book growing up as a kid
Wow I freaking love the Mr. Rogers bit 😂
Great video and such a great day. That is one well organized flea market.
Embracing the Mr. Rogers thing was great.
Bro, I love the dip into some comedy on the channel. Wouldn't say no to some more of that!
😂😂 Mr Rogers for the win! Nice pickup mike
Sir, I give you mad props for committing to the bit.
That jaime reyes was definitely 1st print
Yeah Ricky meant there were two different versions/printings of the cover, not an actual 2nd print
I like you guys together. You're like the Laurel and Hardy of comics. Not to mention the excellent video setups, interviews and most of all comic books!
I just got that Captain America 113 it'll be in the countdown.
This was a very entertaining show and I think if you could get Ricky to dress up as X the Owl can you do a reprise on Mr. Rogers you guys could do a bit on that.

that intro was outrageous hahaha
Mike, way to go full ham! 😂
Another awesome video!
You are by far the best comic collecting video on youtube. Loved the Mr. Rogers schtick! Keep it up!
Thank you!
Not to be that guy. That Infinte Crisis is a 1st print. There is no second print of that book
I caught that too when I was rewatching the video here. Trust me, I was a lot meaner to myself than your helpful little comment was lol
I almost clarified that it wasn’t literally a 2nd print but more “there are two different printings of this book cover” just for the inevitable person or two that chimed in

It's weird that you think kids still collect comics anymore. 😢
It’s not weird, just hopeful
What is a huge DC fan?
Ricky’s down bad for Vampirella 😂
