Your appreciation of Crimson Queen is a guarantee that you will like the Lunario live version very much. Be aware that even Dany was still a teenager when she sang this, and that indeed they wrote this as rather young girls.
Right? Haven’t had enough of an interest in any band in the last 20 years to know what the competition for contemporary concept albums might even consist of… but QotMS stacks up quite nicely with older, classic entries. As you mentioned, their ages when they wrote it is fucking mind boggling.
Fantastic. Always glad when people take the time to do the studio versions. Yes, Lunario (& all of them) are 🔥. But as you’ve already seen (Ugh) the studio songs have treats they don’t always do live.
It is in "stalker" where he kills the boy, after saying "I love you so, cause i am yours and You are mine" At the end of the song, I would like you to hear it live, since you can feel the queen's "madness" feeling much more and Dany's voice is exploited in a much better way live.
I feel you should have done this by watching the LUNARIO CONCERT instead because you're missing out on the best part which is watching them perform it all live. That is the best part of THE WARNING, watching them live. You can't grasp the emotions and passion they put into their songs by listening to an album. They are so much better live.
@@TrueWishEntertainment Thank you for not being offended by what I said. I appreciate that you listen and consider what your viewers say as simply their preference without taking it as a criticism.
The story of *Queen of the Murder Scene* follows a young woman’s descent from infatuation into obsession, murder, and madness. The album begins with *Dust to Dust*, the prologue, where themes of life, death, and deception are introduced. This track serves as a warning about the fragile line between love and darkness, suggesting that the protagonist’s path may spiral out of control. The story then shifts to *Crimson Queen*, the second track, where the protagonist’s feelings for someone who doesn’t notice her seem innocent but are already intense and consuming. She views this person as perfect, longing for their love while placing them on a pedestal. Her infatuation begins to turn dangerous in *Ugh*, where she feels the frustration of unreciprocated love. She recognizes that her feelings are overwhelming, and despite her wishes for simplicity, she’s sinking deeper into obsession. By the time we reach *The One*, the fourth track, her infatuation has turned into a relentless fixation. No longer content to be unnoticed, she is now determined to eliminate any obstacles and "be the one" in her love interest’s life. This song represents a critical turning point in the story, where her emotions transition from longing to a more dangerous resolve, setting her on a path where she’s willing to go to extreme lengths to gain control over her love.
You should watch the lyric videos if you going to listen to the album version. Search each title and lyric on TW RUclips channel. The lyrics are much more complex than young teenagers
Thank you for taking the time. Now, in their concert at the Lunario you get an almost theatrical performance by Dany and Pau who live the character and you can almost feel their pain, desperation, their madness....their end.
Crimson Queen: Definitely check the Foro Didi version of this. Dany's acoustic had a dead battery, so the pickups weren't working. This effectively cut the guitar from the song completely ... but what we got was nothing short of haunting. Catch that one here: ruclips.net/video/Ty6rl3eZPrM/видео.html And, yes, you're right that an electric guitar changes the entire vibe. Pau & Dany played a unique sort of duet of the song a few years ago during a Pau Day livestream. It's one of the most sister things you'll ever watch & it's an absolute delight. Link: ruclips.net/video/EzOGTXqYm38/видео.html UGH: The hardest song on the entire album for them to write. Attempts led to something like three other songs on the album. Fun fact: DPA have said that their performance of UGH during the Teatro Metropolitan concert is about as close to perfection as they've ever played (at least to that point). The One: Creepy AF. The shift from "let me be the one" to "I WILL be the one" gives me chills every time.
I love that you take the time and listen to the full album in order. It is a masterpiece! It is not a bad idea to listen to the studio versions first, but still the Lunario concert is so good and I don't want you to miss that (and that shall also be seen in order). The important thing is that you do what feels best for you and I will be here no mather what. I really Enjoy your reactions to The Warning.
This whole album leads you on a very emotional journey music-wise... It's crazy how young Dany, Pau and Ale were when they wrote this!! As far as which The Warning song is currently my favorite? I would say it depends very much on the day and how I'm feeling!
An amazing and complex concept album, done by three young teenage girls: Dany (17), Pau (15) and Ale (13). That is what makes this album so special and unique.
Crimson Queen, still one of my favorite songs by the Warning. A very intimate song. UGH from Teatro Metro is amazing in my mind. They replaced the piano outro with guitar and bass. Very sweet.
"Dust to Dust" is a great intro to QOTMS. "Hey, come on in walk this way Look what I have prepared to show you Let me show you" It reminds me of the Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" "Roll up That's an invitation Roll up for the Mystery Tour Roll up To make a reservation Roll up for the Mystery Tour"
The would have never been able to talk a label into producing something like this, especially as a second album. And it was a challenge for them to compose all the songs, especially "Ugh". It exists because their father wouldn't let them walk away from the challenge of it.. And at least a couple of other songs on the album spun off from failed versions of "Ugh". Most of us feel that this album attests to their musical genius, both individually and as a group. Fun fact: Dany composed "Crimson Queen" on her own before the work on the rest of the album. She had it pretty much done and it just happened to fit into the album's theme. This is not how they usually compose things, but ti really worked here. "Dust to Dust" was composed around Ale's killer bassline, which is something she had been using as an exercise for warming up on her instrument when practicing. For the storyline, "The One" is a signal of of her obsession turning toward a stalker. It is a transitional song, but vital to the plot's progression.
Ahh, shame you're not gonna go down this journey via the LUNARIO CDMX concert. The impact is different with the album. Really like your channel but, i'll sit this one out. Either way you'll luv this saga, It's a masterpiece!! Catch you in future reactions. 🤙⚡️🤘
Hello from Mexico 🇲🇽 my friend! In my opinion you should hear (and watch) the songs of this album (Queen of the Murder Scene), being played by The Warning (of course) at the Lunario CDMX concert 2018. That concert is amazing!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼⚡️⚡️⚡️It was for the presentation of the album.
He did say in the video he is saving that for later. So he does plan on doing it. I don't blame him for doing the album versions first to get an understanding of the story, and hear how it was originally presented.
Crimson Queen is one of my absolute favorites by them, gives me instant chills. And the live version isn't that different from the studio version, Dany plays it on an acoustic guitar in the live version as well, it is an acoustic song. And the song feels "mexican/latin" to me, maybe because of the acoustic guitar.
The Queens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always glad to have someone going through QotMS in song order!
One of the best concept albums out there! Nevermind the fact that it was written and performed by teenagers (pre-teen in the case of Ale)!
Right? Haven’t had enough of an interest in any band in the last 20 years to know what the competition for contemporary concept albums might even consist of… but QotMS stacks up quite nicely with older, classic entries. As you mentioned, their ages when they wrote it is fucking mind boggling.
The three songs are chapter 1. Dust to Dust was the prologue followed by 4 chapters of 3 songs each.
Fantastic. Always glad when people take the time to do the studio versions. Yes, Lunario (& all of them) are 🔥. But as you’ve already seen (Ugh) the studio songs have treats they don’t always do live.
Pre-chorus is their secret weapon !🔥⚡🤘

Great reaction. Glad you're checking out QOTMS. Subbed for the ride. Keep Rockin' my friend 🤘⚡🤘
Keep your hands inside the ride at all times (thanks :D)

This is fair, I might just switch it up cause I also felt I wouldn't have missed out if I just used the live performance. Thanks for the feedback :D

That's one thing that The Warning is great at, building into the chorus on many of their songs. Makes them very anthemic.
Anthemic, that's a good way to describe it :D

Keep in mind that Pau starts writing most of the songs on the piano first. Then they all chip in. Much of studio has piano in it.

Hi 👋🏻
Hi :D
Personally, I can't watch you just listening to an album when there's a concert with them performing it live.
Youngsters that had to dumb it down compositionally, as to appeal to a greater audience.
