Funny I was looking at a trail hunter the other day and said to my wife that those gold rims would look dope on a LC. I have the 2024 Tundra TRD pro rims on mine. Fits great and looks amazing.
Great video and additions 💯
that's awesome! Thank you for watching!
Slee off road is the best of the best... I love when dealers take their personal stuff there (including me)
They are 1st class.
Awsome build...thanks for including the part list and links
My pleasure!!!
Eric - Excellent work, once again. Great to see your continued leadership in the LC community.
Thanks so much Ward, that means a lot coming from you!
Wind Chill Pearl is what I’m going to go with. 🔥🔥 Looking good brother! The credit card key is strong as death.
Thanks Matt
Nice build. I like the window and hatch triggers on the inside
Thanks!
Another great video, super helpful, thank you!
Thank you so much.
As a current subaru driver and love SUV this is definitely in the view of my next build
Thanks. Part 2 in the works
Nice build. You have me actually looking more at a 250 now.
Awesome. More to come
Great build, I look forward to see your next video.
Much appreciated. I’m excited too. Probably December ETA
What terminal block/hardware did you use under the hood for the 12 volt lugs. Thanks
Such a clean build. Part number for the mini hitch cover? So much better for people running a bike rack half the year.
Part number is 5216960230
Here is the link parts.edmartintoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-lower-cover-5216960230
Sweet build. Have a part number for that small hitch cover?
I’m also wondering where you got the battery terminals for under the hood.
Nice additions you have made. A lot of thought must have went through with adding all these additional accessories and small changes to detail like the poke cord for the ram phone charger.
With the good looking 18 inch bronze Tacoma wheels which really suit the car nicely. I’m so glad you have these wheels on the car, because l have always wanted to see how these wheels would look on the white 250, and you have answered that, thank you so much. Question l have is how much gap do you have between the inside of the wheel and the brake calliper? Is it the same or more or less than the oem wheels?
Would love to see info on how you ran the power and the terminal posts you used under the hood. Not having power like this and real cargo lighting are the only two big issues I’ve found in mine.
@@kernerm I can do that, in time. If you need more information sooner than later, send me an email and I can get you some photographs. Esarjeant@edmartin.com
Those trail hunter wheels go well with the Land Cruiser
Thank you.
Eric is back!
Yes sir.
Awesome build. I’m currently planning on changing the tires on my 250 but I’m a little confused about the sizing of the tires you mentioned. The AT3 285 65/18 are listed as being 32.5 inch tires while the 285 70/18 are listed at 33.72 inches. You mentioned you have 34 inch tires on your build. Is something off or did you do something different to come up with the 34 inch wheels? Like the way yours looks and I’m interested in the same size for mine. Thanks.
Good job guys 👍🏼
Thanks!
Have you guys found stronger rear struts for the liftgate on a 1958? My Prinsu ladder is too heavy for the factory ones!
Top mod on my list will be a bull bar with spotlights; kangaroos can do a fair bit of damage.
Stay tuned for part 2. You won’t be disappointed.
Curious on vehicle ordering. The dealers in Utah say that Toyota does not allow you to spec a vehicle, you have to choose from what Toyota sends them. I have never heard of that before, but I have also never bought new toyotas until I moved to Utah. Is this the case nationwide?
This is true, yes. But the dealers can trade their allocations with other dealers before they make it to the US. If done correctly, customers would feel like we fulfilled an order. Customers that ate flexible on small details can typically get matched 90% perfect.
I’m a noob when it comes to wiring lights. I’m interested in the Blue Sea fuse block. How is that wired up to the ignition? I saw some people on a forum mentioning that it needs a contactor. Could you please point me in the right direction for how to do that?
Was there any issue debadging the hatch? I assume it's just taped on.
I've now done the debadging. EASY.
Really nice build, wheels look great, but those are not 34 inch tires, if anything a 32.5.
Following this build for sure. You have the exact same LC250 as me. Could you link the ram mount and pad you use over the wireless charger? Hate that OE charger and want something like that where I can use the extra MagSafe charger I have already. Thx.

What’s the part number for the key card? Wouldn’t mind getting one for my lc

🔥
Offset on wheels, can you confirm that 40 mm is correct? I have seen Toyota dealers indicating offset is 25mm. Thanks!
Correct, they are +25mm as advertised by Toyota. A large difference compared to the oem which are +70 (1958) and +60 (Premium & FE)
could u pls share the link of the "momentary button" for the back window? thx a lot
and how did u install the button?
Hello! Do you have the part number on those wheels? I want these for my 1958!
Here is the link to the wheels, however they are currently on back order.

@ Thanks! I actually found them in Greenville, SC and they are installed.
Rare to see a cool GM like this guy… do you guys sell trd pro’s at sticker?
Thank you! Yes we do
@@edmartintoyota8599 no shit cool! You guys must have a sick waiting list haha. I know a guy who’s a GM at Toyota and man that dude is making serious dough!
I'm surprised you didn't go with the eco-flow alternator charger. 🤷♂️
With the 2400 watt, I don’t think it’s necessary. You can charge the Delta 2 Max in about 60 minutes from 0-100%
Wow! Didn't you consult with SpaceX on the design of their crew cab?
HA!
are the folding mirrors only on premium package?
Nope. Standard on 1958 and Land Cruiser trims
did you put ceramic tint on tailgate window ?
Yep. 85% on rear glass.
@ thanks is 85% on windshield legal?
Love to see that trek box platform video. Also, can you elaborate about that button you put on to pop the glass hatch from the inside? However, I have a 1958. Is it the same mechanics?
Trekboxx video will be out in a few weeks. Yes, 1958 has glass pop on the lift gate just like the Land Cruiser trim. Just no power lift gate.
@edmartintoyota8599 Love to see a video on that button you put so you could pop the glass or the hatch from the inside while camping. Do you have a video like that?
We could absolutely do that. I’ll wait till the sleeping platform is installed
@@edmartintoyota8599 thanks
285/65:18 is a 32.6 inch tires not 34
Yes, that was an error. I corrected that in previous comments
8:48 where can i find that hitch cover?!
The hitch cover came with the truck. They all come with two options a big one and a small one.
Does any one have link for the rims pls
Here is the link, they're currently on back order
parts.edmartintoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-taco-al-whl-18-in-br-ptr56352405f
285/65/r18 is a 32.6 inch tire? not 34.
Oh snap, you are right. Good catch, thank you so much
So are they a different size? Or are they same diameter as stock tires?
33 inch or 34 inch??
Little confused also, tire size looks good though.
Hi,
I'm desperate to get these wheels and tires on my LC Premium. I live in Ontario, Canada and I approached my local dealership about ordering the Trailhunter wheels. They told me that Toyota will only sell these wheels to Trailhunter owners. In other words, they need a VIN. Is this true? Is there a workaround to purchase these wheels?
Not true, I have 20 in stock. I think we are the only dealer in the US stocking them, email nshockley@edmartin.com we can sell them via eBay and they will handle the international shipping.
Eric doesn’t the door edge guards come on every new tundra and land cruiser? They sell it as an upgrade. But it’s on every one I’ve seen. Guessing because of the paper thin aluminum. They have to have it. And mine are coming off. The wife wants one of these. Hope it’s not garbage like my 23 tundra. Everything on the truck is flimsy and breaking. A true throw away vehicle.
Door Edge Guards is accessory code D5 on the Monroney Label $155 MSRP (installed):

Liquid Death!
@ good recovery
@ i’m just saving the world, one bottle at a time
@ yall ever work on any 100s? Thinking about giving the old gal a makeover
why would you destroy a factory truck, come on
How so?
32.6” tyre not 34”
Great job. I pulled off the hitch cover as well. I installed a Weather Tech step. It matches the bumper and is great for standing on to access the roof rack. Hey would you sell me a set of the Trail Hunter bronze 18 rims. I am in Canada and having difficulty getting a dealer to sell them to me. I have 2024 Traildust First edition. I have a 2 in level kit from Westcott design and want to put K03 2857518.
If you could provide the part number for the 18 inch 40 offset bronze rims that would be be great. Thanks in advance.
Yes, we could figure something out. We may have to do it through eBay email nshockley@edmartin.com She can help you
