Love it, “let me be clear, Jesus is my homie.” Love it, love it! Not enough of us proclaim that Jesus is the way! Congratulations on your revaluation! 🎉I’m 3 weeks out from surgery and really needed to hear this! ❤
Thank you! I like that you are real and I am in a similar spot as you. I am down 95 to 100 pounds give or take with fluctuations and I am coming up on one year on September 19th. I struggle with snacking and enjoy eating with my daughter out to Asian foods etc. the struggle is real. I also wanted to be in onederland but I when I started at 397 I have to be real with myself too which is hard. I have a long way to go but will get there. Anyway, I’m just saying thank you for the realness and relatable-ness. May we continue to prosper on this never ending journey! You look great 👍🏾 ❤ btw I started therapy in which I shoulda done from the beginning for the mental health aspects of this all…so much I am finding out about myself there that is blocking me and now I feel like I can plow through those things and make more progress on this journey. Luv ya girl and wish you all the wellness. 🙌🏾
I also walked a ton and still do and started strength training which can be a kinda game too if you get gains from muscle …. You know…the scale moves up even for a good reason and there is a bad feeling…so crazy. Lol 😂
Congratulations on one year! Thank you for your kind words! I believe that the “work” doesn’t really start until after the first year. The first year is the honeymoon. We have to remember to be easy on ourselves though. We are doing a lot better than we were pre-surgery. Therapy is definitely going to be a game changer!
@@melissabarbee4255 absolutely agree that even when the scale goes up for a good reason it is still a bad feeling! 😩 I want to start personal training & focusing on strength. I’ll just have to keep remind myself that the number doesn’t matter, it’s the feeling that matters!
@@livefreewithkee0619 look up fitbymik. This girls videos work for me. She has a lot of doable moves with very little or no getting up and down from the ground which I still don’t like lol…I have a bad right ankle so some movements still harder for me but 99% of her stuff I can do very comfortably and feel worked just enough after.
I just watched your 3 month update and you were talking about how you were eating sweets and you felt like you had a good relationship with food and could just eat a few and keep it pushing. I see here that you feel that eliminating those foods is best. I'm glad you are moving in that direction now. If you were already having sweets at 3 months and figuring out how to have them, that's a slippery slope in the long term. Great job lady
Thank you. I do what works for me in the moment. Now, I can eat sweets within reason. There may be some seasons when I have to go back to not eating them at all.
