Just to add my two pence. I got given a new build property really big huge balcony. 1st enount of power cuts was ridiculous. Also because I was top floor my water would cut out as it relied on an electric pump. I would I would have to wait for the council to come out and flip the switch back on this would happen WITHOUT A POWER CUT TOO because it was overworked. 2 . The noise transfer between neighbours was ridiculous. You could hear everything. When innocently walking around it sounds like. Heard of elephants. The walls were really thin like plasterboard. I realised most of the bathrooms if in the middle of a block have no windows. My bathroom quickly built up mould in corners The air vents that were designed to circulate air never worked and not every electrician knows how to fix them. The summers were excruciatingly boiling. When it was 37 degrees in the flat with all windows covered it was 45 degrees. I could not stay there during this time. All the doors including the interior doors would slam even with door stoppers and rubber lined door frames it was a big problem. Having an open plan kitchen and front room there just no safety when it comes to kids running about , it just makes the home very isolated. Lifts would always break They are beautiful to look at. Balconies are great. Fuel costs are low because they are well insulated. In two years I put the heating on twice just to dry things a bit quicker. Hope this helps anyone looking to rent or buy
I think this is relative. My friend bought a two-bed two-bath & its huge, also with the biggest balcony I’ve personally ever seen. & THREE BIG storage cupboards - also never seen that before. Even pre existing homes don’t even have that, take it from me lol.
@@melisas4125 I totally agree with you - some new builds are actually spacious. Just unfortunately not the case most times...I think it depends on the housing association also. Thanks for sharing too 🙌🏾
Old houses are the absolute best. High quality materials, excellent craftsmanship

not adding anything not already out there, needs a unique selling point, juts repeating exactly what other people have said.
Who said she is selling anything? It’s a RUclips channel.
