Thanks for your budgeting analysis. Today everything is so expensive. While it may not be easy to save on cruise fares, I find ways to save on excursions a better budgeting option.
For comparison ,I just spent 1500 flat for 7 nights on MSC seascape. 2 adults interior cabin, both w Drinks+ package and Wifi. With that price I'll never leave MSC. Airfare to Orlando is 125 pp roundtrip. They will not be making much of a profit from us, I can eat and drink like a horse. I guess they are okay taking a loss to gain marketshare.
Hi John,, I think it would be helpful to add the approximate cost of purchasing beverages with out a drink package for budgeting purposes. I.E., how much is a soda, water, beer, wine,, as if the traveler were paying out of pocket. Also, I have personally budgeted beverage spending by approximating what we might spend on beverages and putting money in OBC, using the cruise line gift cards and purchase ahead of time so I don't have a surprise bill at the end of my cruise. Just my thoughts. Love your videos and content, I find them helpful. I just watched one you did about staying in NYC at Ink48.
Sailing from a close port always saves! Great video.
So true! Thanks for watching.
Hi John, I’m excited to see your Venezia videos coming out, can’t wait to see what you thought.
