      It's important to clarify that bone marrow stem cells do have the potential to differentiate into neural cells. However, it's crucial to note that this process requires the induction of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells into neural stem cell-like cells, which should occur within a controlled environment. While these cells can transform into neural cells, it's essential to understand that their efficiency in generating neurons is relatively low. Clinical studies on the use of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells in treating autism have shown limited improvements in children. It's worth emphasizing that specific cues must be provided in the right conditions for bone marrow-derived stem cells to give rise to neural cells.
