The more siblings I see the more I feel like the lose of their mom at a young age had a severely tragic effect on them.
I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer when I was 30 years old in 1992 .It is a tough one ,especially when we were very close .
He seems like a cool guy and he can sing a little.

An alcoholic living under a bridge. Winters are deathly. A 2 room apartment and groceries wouldn't hurt a billionaire.
The problem with addicts like him is that he would sell that apartment to buy more booze. Madonna offered to pay for his rehab. He refused. It's his own choice to live under that bridge.
She could keep the apartment in her name - no problem there - have groceries delivered. Alcoholism may be his choice, but he is obviously afflicted. She is one of the richest people on the planet. Better to hold out a hand to help someone up than push them even further into the mire.

The distance that these siblings have must be due to the fact that their mother died when they were so young and they had to fend for themselves due to their absentee busy working father. It happens. Alcoholic households have very similar affects.

I know it's a hard thing to do but sometimes in life you have to separate yourself from certain people to become the person who you want to become even if that means some family members.
As you said you have to separate your self sometimes to become who you want to be. I want always to be there for my family because I know they are the last people who will betray me or let me down. But again that's just me. Some people choose fame and money over there own blood.

I've had alcoholic siblings my entire life. I have relatives addicted to drugs. It has nothing to do with Madonna's money or status. Her brother has to want saving. I think she has tried to help him numerous times. It is sad. He is a lost soul just like so many of my family members. Some no longer here.

He's living under a fucking bridge, and she's a billionaire. I wouldn't care if my sibling was messed up on drugs and alcohol, I would definitely give them a home and try to get his some help. Even if he doesn't want to get help, get him off the fucking streets. I don't care the circumstances, if I were a billionaire, there's no way in hell I'd allow a family member to suffer when I'm living a life of luxury.

By choice. If you take charity, you have to play by their rules. For him, it means getting sober and stop being a danger to himself and his loved ones. He chose to be “free” and be homeless so he could keep doing drugs. Madonna is right not to enable his behavior as cutting him off after she spent years and lots of money helping him would be better for him in the end. He can come to her or any of his numerous siblings, or their father once he’s ready to truly go clean and be a positive and healthy member of the family again. Believe me, having an addict in the family is tough and you have to be tough after being nice results in continued harmful behavior that also hurts you and your family. Many of his siblings have to worry about their own children and can’t have him around with his drug use.

I think based on her natal chart she’s a purist. She has a Moon in Virgo. She’s focused on scrubbing you clean before giving you a hug. Getting you off drugs. Only after that will she hug you. She can’t love anyone as they are. It can be really toxic.
There are people that would drop every thing they had to give you a hug, no matter what you look like. If you have siblings like that, it can be heartbreaking for them to be in contact with you. If she offered to pay for rehab, that may have been her one condition for love and some people deserve unconditional love.

Rich and/or famous siblings are not obligated to help or care for the rest. It doesn't work that way. We are only hearing one side of the story. Some people who have long-term drug, alcohol, mental or financial problems cannot or WILL NOT be helped, no matter how much money or time is given.

branding111 that is absolutely a fact. she has offered him support to get clean and sober, NOT to just give him money, which is the worst thing you can do for any practicing addicted person. Giving housing, clothing, jobs and food, etc will be turned into money for one thing, using. How many times do you keep putting the person in a home to be turned into cash, etc.? is the correct number 50 times, or until they die? People who dont understand addiction will do that sort of thing, its called loving them to death.

Where is the proof she didn't? Google it. It's also been said other members of the family including their father have tried NUMEROUS times to help him. Madonna isn't the only one in that family with the financial resources to help him. Simply throwing money at the problem isn't going to fix it though. HE has to want to be helped. I highly doubt if he reached out to his sister (or any family member) and genuinely asked for help getting clean, sober and getting his life together that she would turn him down.

From my understanding, she tried to help him several times over and over again but he always fell off the wagon. Its not an easy road to get completely clean, but it does start and end with your own decisions.

I don’t think people realizing that a lot of their suggestions of what Madonna SHOULD do for him is just enabling behavior we are told not to do for addicts. He is clearly homeless by choice and at least during this time would rather be homeless than get clean and be a part of the family again. All of his siblings, not just Madonna, could have helped him, but it says a lot that they just let him do his thing. I heard they all, including Madonna, spent tons of time, money, and other resources for him. His father wanted him to get better and to help him. But in the end, he chose to do this. For their part, members of the family couldn’t just let an addict back into their lives and let him do what he wanted. They have families and children themselves that they need to care for now. They shouldn’t be around an addict. I hear the family is helping him again, which says to me Anthony has chosen the help they offered that he initially rejected in order to choose to live under the bridge so he could do whatever it was he wanted.
