I have a Stage2 bootmod3 F10 M5, this thing is ridiculously fast!
btw it's bootmod3 (bootmode). The "3" is an "E"
Also, it doesn't download your stock tune, it has a stock tune preconfigured based on DME's type.
Use boost reduction to get a good grip. 30% on 1st, 15% on 2nd, 0% on the rest.

My 2015 Competition that's stock with BM3 Stage 1 93octane was 600 whp and 647 wtq and that's plenty for me. In BM3 I use boost by gear and pull 40% out in 1st and 20% in 2nd. Still spins a little in 1st but a ton in 2nd still. Such a great car!
Might try messing with boost by gear.
@@VehicleVirals I'm running 305's in the back but the traction struggle is real. I daily mine and just crossed 105k miles and she's so comfy and fast. Less boat down low might even make launch control useful too. Love your color. Alpine white here. I'm near the dragon if you ever come up to drive some curves in the mountains.

Dude what an absolute beast of a machine to do that in 100 degree weather and almost 40% humidity. My hybrid turbo TT suffers noticeably in those conditions, im sure your car would make nearly 700hp if dyno in the fall when it’s like 40-50 out!

I have a 17 M6 with intakes and a simple racechip piggy back and it scary how fast they are for big cars. I didnt know an exahust, intakes and intercoolers did that much for the motor in stock for. Crazy HP potential with simple bolt ons.

Agreed! They aren’t sleepers if you know about cars but around my area there are many scat packs and hell cats that clearly don’t know… I’ve Suprised a lot of folks. I’m on BM3 stage 2 , downpipes , intakes and custom exhaust which is what makes this video so much better! Found it very hard to get actual numbers even on forums online.

Naaa the 550i is the sleeper.. Most people don't know what those numbers on the back of the car means. But they know a M car is gonna be fast.. Nice thing about a 550i is you can also get it in xDrive (mine is) and then you don't have traction issues.. Digs, rolls, wet roads doesn't matter, very rarely do I break loose.

10.1 when you drive it like that lol. I got almost 22mpg doing 80-85 on a drive from Texas to the Midwest, I was happy with that mileage tbh.

@@adambarrett5696 No the clutch is stock. 4th and 6th gear ist slippin. Only accelarating in 3rd and 5th gear
I'm at 820nm with no slip at all. Stage 2 with csf coolers and rk autowerks carbon intakes. Was thinking meth next but really don't want to upgrade clutch just yet

What would be the maximum (safe) limit before you need to replace internals?
You need that water meth kit and it will add power and keep it cool! Let’s go bro! You should wait till it’s cooler outside like during the fall or winter and retune it it’s definitely going to be better! My friend has one just bm3 intake charge pipes and down pipes his makes 650

I ran stage 2 93 OCT for over a year and now I am getting a CEL and the code said mixture too lean across two banks.
I replaced precat O2 as advised. Anything else to thinl of?

Are these corrected numbers? At the bottom of the graph I see STD 1.05 and this makes me think that they are.
Am I dumb to swap a 92 Fox body Mustang mint only 122000km for a 2007 335i with n54 jb4 with upgraded turbos pushing 500hp 190000km and I noticed a oil leak underneath mid section of car noticeable leak slow drip. Lol valve gasket maybe? Guy said it a small line 700$ to replace. My Fox is stock needs love like a 92 should. Any opinions are welcome

I have the exact same car with the same setup and it makes the same power to.... 637whp 668 wtq I have never had a problem with the clutches I have put probably 10,000 kilometers on it since the tune but I do have a xHP stage 3 transmission tune

Damn you really don’t need more power. Imagine on E85. How do you keep the M5 so clean? Garage queen?
I clean it often. Plus the entire car has ppf and ceramic coat, which makes the upkeep easier.

This why I say these shops had to watch who there hiring homie said 570rwhp. I’ve dynoed cars in 110 degree temps and made close to same power as if I dynoed on a cool 65 degree day. Turbo cars with a proper cooling system don’t drop off that bad on super hot days.
My only gripe is that I’m old school you should only dyno in the 1:1 gear.
I have a m6 grand coupe on mhd stage 1 and it doesn’t feel right. Feels like I’m having throttle closer while flat out on the gas peddle. Might be switching the bm3 from what I’m seeing.

Yup, im Running the Stage 2 bootmod3 93 map with only Vrsf downpipes & im satisfied with the current level of scary. It’s Fast enough for me. Never Dyno’d it tho.

Has anyone heard of any issues with the rod bearings on these cars?
I mean most bmws go through rod bearings more frequently than other manufacturers. I'm not sure if this one in particular does. But even if it does its not that big of a deal. You're talking about an m5 after all. If you cant afford to have it done or dont have the know how or means to do it yourself you should probably look at a lower end car.
@@justinv6132 I mean it’s a pretty big deal when a spun rod bearing ruins the entire engine and you have to buy a new one. Even if someone can afford a new M5 engine why would that not be a big deal

Aren’t the clutch packs getting ruined though with that much torque if they can only handle 650?
I'm not excessively launching the car, so I think I'll be okay
@@VehicleVirals it doesn’t matter if you launch or not when it comes to the clutch packs. Your clutches are probably slipping already but will only notice it during gear changes in WOT, for now until they get worse. You need to get the xHP DCT flash to increase the clutch clamping pressure to handle the torque before they get to the point of needing replacement.
@@7r2005doesn’t the XHP flash require a special ECU flash tune to communicate with the DCT to make use of the available extra clamping force? Their website says a compatible flash tune is needed
@@hassaantariq5937 nope. Not at all. I used it with Wiestec, BM3, and MHD. Stages 1 and 2.
Would you be able to do some pulls with an MHD OTS stage 2 map?
It doesn't run right on my car yet.

Has anyone noticed a a problem with bm3 on gears not wanting to shift from 3rd to 4th or 4th to 5th on hard acceleration and makes your car redline?

@@Rb-te3ouhad a a vacuum leek that caused my car to act like a mess. Little hoses that connect to the rear part of the exhaust was my problem

f10 m5 today is a best deal when it comes to power , features etc. 2015 m4 give u much less but costs now bit more than f10 m5. The only downside is too much tractoin issues. I know too many people that had f10 m5 and crash them because of losing traction cointrol
The F10 550i has a xdrive option but its a zf 8 speed not dct.

With the caveat of using 99 octaine fuel, the idiot whois identity is unknown in the video uses 95octaine fuel, in the Uk thats the real cheap shit fuel, even a 20 year old soccer mums car hates it but for an M car??? who knows what he thinking.
But yeah use 99 octain fuel, over here in England thats Tesco premium or V power, i know in the states you have different ratings but just the best you have and that will get you 750BHP with the evolve tune + evolve down pipes.
