- We found out my cervix was shrinking so we had to have a Pessary put in to help prevent preterm labor! Plus I get to show you my 24 (almost 25) week bump!

I love watching you and Missy. Thank you for sharing this update, I’ve been wondering what them two babies have been up to. I had the same problem with my son and was put on bed rest at 4 months. Take it easy and above all else follow your mother instincts.

I also had pessary with my twins. I had an incompetent cervix and my high risk ob at Winnie asked if I wanted to give it a shot. Unfortunately it didn't work for me and i continued to dilate. I delivered my ID girls at 27 weeks 7cm dilated(no pain). Nicu for 7 weeks to gain weight. They are now 3.😊
Did you get cervical clerclage during your pregnancy with twins, if yes. Then what week? Thsnks x

I had this during both my pregnancies. My first pregnancy my cervix was at 1.1 at 22 week and 0.5 at 26 weeks and went to full term, I even worked untill 30 weeks before my dr told me to stop. My second pregnancy I was at 0.8 at 23 weeks and 0.4 at 25 weeks and again went full term. Good luck with everything. Just wanted you to hear a positive outcome. X

Heyyy thanks for sharing yur story ,am 21 weeks and my cervix is 1.3 .... am very nervous and don’t want to get the cerclage and considering the Pessary !! How did go through your pregnancies without cerclage and went full term please?? Am so nervous and confused right now and i really want this baby
Good to know that both pregnancies went full term . Am 23 weeks and 1.8. Started Pessary yesterday . Hoping for best . Thanks for your positive comment .

Well I’m glad to hear they caught it and are taking preventative measures. Also glad to hear you are now at 24 weeks. I am not sure where the Dr. came up with the 25% survival rate for 21 weeks from. At that gestation the survival rate is more around 0-1% you don’t hit the 25% survival rate to more around 23 weeks. I imagine because twins usually weigh less as well that their odds go down even a little more from those stats. Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy.

Glad you are doing well. Curious, where do you live? I live in MA was pregnant with twins years ago. My cervix started to dilate and was going into preterm labor at 22 weeks. My dr said I needed to have a cerclage, but I needed to stop contracting and the window for cerclage was closing as you can only have one during 2nd trimester (13-23 weeks). I was able to have a cerclage the next day. It was not a major surgery. I was fully awake, only had an epidural. Went home on complete bed rest. Twins were born at 28 weeks. Cerclage bought them more time. My dr said once you have an incompetent cervix, you always will. That means any future pregnancies will need cerclage. I had 2 pregnancies after my twins and needed cerclage- one at 13 weeks and other at 16 weeks; but was able to carry to term in both cases. Wish you the best!!!1
I am 26 weeks today got a pessary inserted at 21 weeks cx was 1.2 only then.. was hospitalised and complete bed rest till date. Last usg showed 2.2 cm cx length. Hopefully god will help me to complete my pregnency journey at term with a healthy perfect baby 🙏🏻 hugs and prayers to all mammas who s been through a tough pregnency journey.. hope for the best and pray well. Follow all advise by doctor
Haha I had that for my twins!! My boy was so low and my girl was up high in my ribs! I went to half days from around 23 weeks for same thing. Then on home bed rest from 25 weeks. I was in hospital from 31 weeks on bed rest till 35 weeks to get them along longer. Went home for one night. Was back the next day and my labour was 2 hours haha had them both vaginally with no drugs! (I had an epidural for my son. So assumed I’d have one Incase of emergency c - section haha) but they came too quick! 😂😂

Sondra Rae yeah I hated bed rest and had to get use to it quickly haha when I was in hospital I even had my nail lady come to my room to get my nails re done before I had them 😂😂 I loved it cause we had a big room with queen bed. So my partner Michelle could come and stay most nights! Otherwise I def would have went nuts! Haha x

Hi I am Fatima.i am 24 weeks now.last week I used progesterone gel but I was getting more shorter .so they sent me to emergency but the higher risk doctor said I can’t do cervical vet lage coz I am too late for it .. now I am admitted in hospital.and they said I can birth anytime .. but they didn’t tell me about this peasant implant.should I can put pessary in 24 weeks?? Please tell me ..so that I can tell my doctor about it ..please response me as soon as possible it will be more helpful for me .. I don’t want to get preterm birth

I’m surprised they didn’t keep you and give you the medicine. Usually they want to keep you to watch and see what’s going on. I ended up in the hospital at 26-27 weeks with premature labor and luckily they stopped it. Ended up giving birth at 37 weeks and a day while at the hospital I’d deliver at for a different appointment
91ashleylover they put the pessary in and immediately saw improvements so they just gave me progesterone to take for the next couple of weeks and I’m being monitored. Everything seems to be going pretty well... I have heard a lot of stories like yours though.

No hate or anything but there is this youtuber called Colleen Ballinger. She is pregnant to and her pelvic bone is killing her and another thing is her pelvic bone is snapped in half and there are different stages of this and her one is the very last one which is u can’t walk or move because it hurts like fricken hell she went to see her doctor heaps and they can’t do anything about the pain and she also faints and when she does she can’t see anything except for black and she can’t hear anything and she will vomit 20 times a day so I don’t know hate u guys are complaining about.Colleen’s one is really really bad and she goes on tour and everything and she passed out on a plane while she is pregnant.I don’t know what u guys are complaining about. Think of her pain she even got put in bed ready for 2 months and had to sit in a wheelchair so like I said I don’t know what u guys are complaining about.
rcwktnz thanks for watching and your comment I didn’t make this video for sympathy and for people to feel bad. I made it to inform people of the pessary that was put in place. Most doctors I encountered when I had it in had never had a patient with a pessary in... so that’s why I made this video.
With the implant you can’t have sex either can you??
