I definitely do appreciate the community aspect of RUclips. I’ve been doing the thing off and on for about 4-5 years now and it’s fun to see whose still here, whose off and on like me, etc. I don’t think there are any massive ways that RUclips has changed anything for me- minus the community aspect. Which in itself is a pretty big thing.
Right!? It doesn't feel very massive, but maybe we'll look back one day and say it was actually sort of pivotal, I don't know 😂
Hi! I am a small writing channel, and I just passed 500 subs this week! (AHHHH!!!) The whole reason I started was to make writing friends and I have absolutely been able to do that. I agree that a majority of the people on here are so kind and supportive, and I love getting to interact with people that watch my content. As far as the live streaming stuff, I go live pretty often on my channel, and I just use my webcam. I don't use my "fancy" camera for those. Most of the time if someone is watching a live, they are just looking to interact with you in real time and aren't worried as much about the video quality! Congrats on the rapid growth your channel is seeing! :)
P.S. I love your money videos! As someone who wants to self-publish, your realistic look into what those earnings are like has been SUPER helpful!

I agree with @codythewriter (hi Cody!) that it has helped me reach so many new writer friends, which was my whole goal all along.
I have no idea if this’ll work, BUT maybe you could do an “all about my books” video to try and sell people on it???
