You show us the world, your countries, other countries’ energy and creativity and optimism and unwavering belied in the future. When if we reach across borders and learn to see ourselves in each other, and confront our shared challenges with shared resolve.
Thank you Sakura - We love travel and have a theory that we are all just hoping for a better future and that all parents want hope, education, health and safe lives for their children - and after all we are all either a child or a parent ..... Positivity is something I love and avoid negativity all the time 💜🚐🤗🌺🎉 Thank you for your message and kind regards Marianne xx
Phew I'm absolutely exhausted and I spent less then 12 minutes with you on five busses !! 🤣🤣 I must say by the sounds of Chris in the morning you maybe did it in 12 minutes as somehow you got up at 5:00am and were waiting for the bus at ....quarter too five 😱 it must be magic 😂 Really great information on how to travel economically, I was surprised to see that you also pay a departure tax !! (may be they would prefer you to stay) 😆. What a coincidence meeting with your fellow hostel dwellers on the bus !! You look so comfortable with this traveling, really laid back and friendly, and getting on so well with fellow travellers and locals alike. Once again the quality of story telling is so professional, superb choice of backing music and super slick edits. 👌👍😎 Keep making "it happen" until the next one tread careful 🙋♂️T&D🙋♀️xx
ha ha - yes neither Chris nor i are very good in the morning LOL 😉😂😬 I actually love meeting people and love learning new phrases to entertain people with my atrocious accent LOL. We love hanging out and making new friends and we seem to attract a great crowd where ever we go 💕🌴 The guys from the hostel left an hour before us and actually gave us a wake up call ..... so we are lucky that we caught up with them 😂😂 Thanks again for another lovely comment xx Marianne and Chris xx
I have been following yr travel vlogs since Costa Rica as I myself spent a month there back in Jan/Feb this year and have to say that I admire yr sense of adventure, yr jolly good mood u always seem to be in and yr willingness to share all yr experiences w the world out there ... very curious to learn about yr Nicaragua experiences as I was too hesitant to go there this time around ... wishing you happy and safe travels ... Walter from Vienna, Austria but currently traveling in Bolivia.
Hi Walter - thank you for your comment if you liked Costa Rica you will love Nicaragua (Chris is actually making the next video now) !! We will be sharing it all and hopefully you agree xx 😍😘🌴😉 We are glad our happy mood and sense of adventure is coming across as we decided years ago when we go married that we wanted to be happy .... and we have not changed !! LOL kind regards Marianne and Chris xx
Every day's and Adventure :) specially on public transport. I love walking in no mans land as country count goes up. My favourite was the NML walk over Zambezi Bridge from Zim to Zam. We arrived in Nicaragua by speedboat on a beach landing and cleared customs on the jetty... so cool. Chris just keep making it happen.
Hi - it is funny how 'no mans land' sounds scary .... when it is really just a bit of ground !! so many adventures to come and so many more to make happen !!! - so exciting LOL 😍💕🌴👍
For people watching. The youtubers here took public buses from Costa Rica to Nicaragua border crossing. Public bus are local and you need to change often. However, There Is Private Bus Companies That Go Directly On One Bus. From Liberia or Even San Jose to Managua Nicaragua Without Changing Buses. The cost is very small even for private bus companies.
Hi Yuri - We have been through this border a few times and it depends on the time of day and how many coaches / buses arrived at the same time as you - but it was efficient and the queue moved quickly 😉👍🌺
Hola - Gracias para todo - we loved everything and we have now started to put the subtitles in Spanish - we hope this helps and makes our videos easier to understand - Thank you for the shares - mucho gusto - Marianne y Chris xx
Hi Bradley, there are lots of really helpful people and you will be fine - I used Duolingo to learn a bit of Spanish and had a great time !! there are loads of beautiful places to visit and enjoy 🌺🌸😘
I’m heading to Nicaragua in a few days from Costa Rica. I’m going to Isla Ometepe what bus out of Liberia did you take? Was it ticabus? Also love the video
Hi Michael - you can just pick up a local bus at the bust depot - they are very regular and they shout out the names of the place they are going to - I think it is Penas Blanca - but Chris did a video xx enjoy and if you can stay where we did you will have the time of your life xx kind regards Marianne xx
Hi - Yes we are from the UK 😍👍 been on the road for about 10 months 🤗👍 We have challenged ourselves to visit every country, in either our van Trudy, with a rucksack or with an overlander!! hope you are able to come on the journey with us 🤗👍
We're planning with some friends to travel across Central America, starting from Guatemala Do you think is possible to do this route from Nicaragua to Costa Rica, and if so, what buses would you suggest us, where to take them and how much would it cost? Any leads or info will be appreciated, thanks!
There is a Nica bus of Tica Bus that will organise it for you - they help you with the forms and passport control and take you from A to B in very clean / Air con coaches - this is probably the easiest option - but if not you can speak to the hostel you are staying in and they will advise you which is the best local bus service that you need. Enjoy your time 🤗💃💐💜 - Kind regards Marianne and Chris xx
Make sure you get everything in place, I think it's no problem getting from Guatemala to Nicaragua but crossing from Nicaragua to Costa Rica requires for you to do some extra stuff first about 10 days before.
Thank you for your advice Sigma TV - we did not have this experience .... we used Nica bus to go from El Salvador to Costa Rica and we literally just got on and off the bus stop at border crossings and the agent on the bus, gave us the appropriate form at the appropriate border for us to fill in our passport details and details of our hostels - Keep me posted on the changes, it will be interesting to hear what has changed - Kind regards Marianne xx
Hi as Brits we have a 90 day visa on entry, but if you want to contact us we have our email addresses on our contact page on our website :) kind regards Marianne xx
Hi Josie - we have met people that speak no Spanish at all .... but to be honest if you can at least learn a few phrases you will have a much better experience as everyone seems to love the fact that I am trying ... I repeat the word 'trying' LOL 😍💕🌴😂 Marianne xx

Hi Victor 👍 - Super long ... but you never go hungry LOL as there is always a snack available 😍😂👍
How long did you have to wait to get the exit stamp from Costa Rica? I’ve heard the lines can get pretty long at times.
