ICC Drops Case Against Haniyeh Amid Ongoing Conflict Investigations

  • The ICC has officially ended its legal proceedings against Ismail Haniyeh, the former Hamas leader, after his assassination in Tehran in July 2024. Haniyeh had been under investigation for alleged war crimes, but his death led to the termination of the case. The ICC is still pursuing cases against other figures involved in the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict.
