Love how players like Kramnik and Gelfand connect to these young players, mentoring the next generation. Thanks to Kramnik for this. Also kudos for companies like Microsense who sponsor this and to Chessbase India, particularly Sagar and Amruta for their hard work in the field
So we just gonna ignore the fact that sir sagar shah was actually taking care of the kids and also serving them lunch ?? Great work by you, hatsoff to you and Ur team sir
Omg seeing this video again after 5 years.... How much has changed Gukesh is the world championship challenger and world and world no. 5 And pragg is world number 10. Just wowwww........
Gukesh is now a world champion - yet Mr. Kramnik doesn't even congratulate one of his students, but instead dimilishes his success saying, that championship was won due to "Childish blunder"...
What an experience for these young lads to be trained by one of the greatest chess players to ever live. A true gentleman and scholar when it comes to chess. My chess hero, Vladimir Kramnik. Soak it in, boys.
Three of these kids were already GM. Other three were IM. One of them was confirmed as GM while this training was taking place. Remaining two kids became GM later. So, all these kids are already GM. Four of them are super GM (elo rating over 2600). As a team, they have won an Olympiad Bronze. In individual capacity Gukesh won individual gold and Prag won individual bronze in Chess Olmpiad 2022. Prag has qualified for Candidates 2024. So, these six pupils have already shown great progress. Kuds to Sagar and his wife to take such great care of this kids, acting as their guardians on foreign soil.
Adding to it ...gukesh also qualified for candidates and now he is youngest ever winner of candidate and will challenge for world champion sometimes players journey is soo emotional and motivating to watch❤❤❤ and Sagar sir should one day definitely get dronacharya award for his support to young talent in chess field
Coming back to this video after Gukesh became the world champ. This is so bittersweet seeing Kramnik giving such valuable lessons to these young talented kids only to accuse the Indian team years later.
Gukesh, Pragg, and Raunak have graduated to the top, with Gukesh transforming himself as Super GM, Hats off to Microsense for sponsoring and nurturing the young talent of India
What a wonderful sight! The great chess master Kramnik and the brilliant, young chess minds - brings to mind the ancient tradition where the great sages of the Upanishads imparted the wisdom of the Self to young students.
Gukesh stopped eating to get the position from the book .... Others were full on the food ^^ that's where you see the slights difference on motivations
Kramnik is my Hero!!! Mr.Sagar can you get his autograph for me on a paper I will send you a self-address envelope at your ChessBase office or order a book from you can send it me through that please?!
Hi Sagar.. Just my opinion... Please convey to the players to speak in English... It is impolite to converse in a language not known to others.., they are international players and regular use of English will help them improve their communication...to get the point across...ask them to imagine big Vlad speaking in Russian which our boys do not understand..would we find it useful or good? .,.Sangharsh Regards Sangharsh
@MrMozoak yes.. I agree that they are kids hence the suggestion... In the future they will be attending many many such training camps with foreign trainers and using tamil to converse amongst themselves would come off as impolite.. I say this basis my experience with North Inidan colleagues who find it frustrating when others in group speak in Telugu.. Which they don't know.... And I also mentioned that.. They should speak to each other also in English this will help improve their language.. Their tamil is fluent... They need to practice their English.... This I am saying basis my experience as a German language expert... When kids are small they can be taught manners or language...i love I dian languages... Point is understanding how foreign coaches might interpret behaviour.. Thanks
@MrMozoak foolish on your part to assume that I did not watch the video... And I did not mention in any part of my comment that I was offended... The tone of my comment was that of a suggestion... And the intent too... Please do not put words in my mouth... I never said I was offended... Learn manners and don't say something which someone has not said... Regards

This is a dignified game and on or off the board dignity is important... I think.... You mannerless behaviour shows your upbringing
They are calculating to find the best move which they can also do by solving chess puzzles and this has nothing to do with understanding chess talking in terms of strategy and positional chess.
@@kevinwellwrought2024 If I place an endgame in front of you and ask you is this a win or a draw. You then need to make a claim and prove it. This can be substituted by using the engine but one retains the concept better by attempting to solve it oneself. This also allows one to form the sort of general rules which aid human chess. For example they do all this analysis and come to the important conclusion it's a draw because the king is on the wrong side and needs to paradoxically be closer to the opposite side of the pawn so that one can respond to attempts to perpetual check by a check against the opponents King. Turning on the engine one may just say oh check check check perpetual moving on. It doesn't help you grow that way.
Sagar's contribution to Indian chess is immense

They have reserved the dining table for their primary food-'Chess'...

Love gukesh praggu Tamil conversation. Praggu speaking like a funny kid but he is a GM😂

Additionally they have won gold medal at Chess Olympiad 2024. Gukesh have also won the individual gold on board 1.
And Gukesh is World Champion now (dec 2024).
The video looks unreal after Kramnik's allegations yesterday. All the kids were adoring him.
That's why kramnik is jealous and he can't tolerate the kids he trained challenge his coaching team.

Yes
he is also handling the camera. He is omnipresent. 😂

The Modern Day Gurukul..!!
Kramnik the Monk with a Spec
Gukesh will say proudly " Kramnik was my teacher "
" Gukesh was once my student " Kramnik will say with even more pride in future

2: 00 to 2:33 Pragg & Gukesh discussing in Tamil 😊

Why should they go for kramnik , while indian tiger Vishy Anand is there na ?? ...
Kramnik is one of the world's greatest players. Anand's expertise is probably anyway available to these kids as he is Indian..
Vishy is in St Louis competing at the Sinquefield Cup, Kramnik has retired from active play and has now turned to coaching kids.
Big Vlad OP!

Why Are they eating on the floor?
In many cultures like in Muslim countries and a good part of Asia it's customary to eat on the floor.
