Sorry dude, Razors UHD at 1,700 00 do have a small drop-off at about 5% from the edges. There's no way 800.00 binos have total edge to edge sharpness. Not in 100 years.
This is Scott's review so I can't speak to all his points. All I can tell you is these binoculars are actually the reason I don't own my razors anymore. They really are great for the price. -Matt
I own the Athlon Midas UHD 12x50 G2 (I paid $350 for it). I have tested it side-by-side with a lot of high end glass. Only Razor UHD, Swarovski and Leica are better. The better glass are all in the $1,700-3,200 range. So for fraction of the cost, I can live with 10% less (if that) performance.
@@DeerandDonutsI had the vortex razor uhd razors and I used them one season and sold them. Something about them, I could not pick out game as easy when bedded compared to a different brand of $200 binoculars, the color tone for desert is not for me and I really never had that problem with the razor hd back in the day. Clear yes but I could pick up animals better with the cheaper pair. I'm looking at something cheaper in the 15x56 so I'm going to give these a try and my 8x42 on the neck. Great review. These are better than the vortex kiabab correct? I sold them on marketplace for $750 with a brand new tripod.
