Unless you're playing the PS4 and later ports, where you will have to actually move him forward a bit for each hit. You still don't need to move him while you're on land in the third and fourth cups from Olympus Coliseum.
I'm playing on the PC version and having trouble getting the truffles to spawn. I can get the Giant fish thing that drops dazzling stones, but the truffles just won't show up. They only appear in monstro
The easiest way to get mystery goo in KH1 unless they changed it was to throw pumpkins at the mushrooms in haloween town on the spiral hill map. takes 2 hits, very high drop rate when they are killed with a mushroom.
you mean with a pumpkin. And what the hell? If its the ones at the spiral hill map, those are Black mushrooms, they rarely drop the goo. Never tested killing them with pumpkins, but might be placebo on your part. The easiest way is to find White mushrooms and go the correspondent magic on them (if they are shivering, use Fire, if they are hot, use Blizz, etc). This way they always give at least one goo.
Found simba charge to be effective. Just wish getting elixirs was better. Can't for the life of me do this and can only successfully do the wind trick once every 10 mushroom.

If anyone's wondering how to do this: Fly, lock and hit X without starting combos. Do not touch any analog sticks.

Don't worry about it, it's just as easy/difficult at any level. The only things that matter are the length of your keyblade, and your timing skills.
